This simple but durable item is invaluable for helping people to get into or out of a car. It slips into the loop bracket on the door column of the car, to provide something to grasp while climbing into or out a car. The handle is covered in a soft pliable material that makes the grip comfortable.

These "car canes" are a great buy. No assembly required. The cane fits easily into the metal hook on the door frame. They are portable and easily fit in the door pocket when not in use. It has made a positive difference for my 83 yr old mom. She can now get out of the car more easily using the car cane. It is a sturdy item with a cushioned handle which provides stability when exiting the car. I would definitely get the two pack if you have either two people who need it or have one person who needs it but two cars. She hasn't used the car cane to get into the car but I expect it will work just as well if she needs to in the future. Hoping to never need it but it also has a window breaking feature. Great price for two. Definitely recommend.
