RG6 Coaxial Wire Stripper Crimper Tool Set Kit, Connectors, Tool, Rotary Stripper (5 Connectors)

I am a maintenance professional and bought this to ensure I was making professional connectors/connections when installing an "over the air" antenna and was needing to make a few coaxial connections...AFTER I LEARNED HOW to use the stripper on YouTube, I could not be MORE PLEASED with HOW SIMPLE and PROFESSIONAL the stripper and crimper work (ALONG with the connectors they give you with itThis was a GREAT investment and although NOT something I will use EVERY DAY, it is work EVERY PENNY to have it when I need it to make those professional connections one desires...

I tried this crimper with multiple brands of RG6 F-Connector, and was unable to get a single one to properly crimp and fasten to the cable. After about 10 tries, a piece of metal broke off, rendering a useless tool hopelessly useless. The price is too good to be true. The strippers work, but just barely. The F-Connectors that came with this kit were adequate after I purchased a functional crimper at Home Depot.

Once you work through the cable stripper adjustments, you'll have no problems. For a start, watch the "stripper" adjustment procedural video and take 3-4 practice runs.With cable properly stripped and ground braid fanned out evenly, you can easily install the rg4 connector to the cable with modest hand pressure. The compression tool is the last activity and required no real skill to permanently set the connector.

I bought this to clean up a sloppy cable install that left 5 feet of cable rolled up in each bedroom. With this tool I was able to install outlets in each room which makes for a much cleaner look. Like other reviewers have noted, this does not come with much in the way of instructions, but a simple YouTube search got me up and running and this product works exactly as it should.

This does the job, though you'll have to go to Youtube for instructions on how to use the wire stripper. Wish they had put a little wire nipper in the crimper unit to save carrying an extra tool around, but no biggie. Everything works as advertised at reasonable cost.

Great set. Replaced a set I had before. But no instructions included with the cutter and stripper. If you dont have previous knowledge of running coax with theses tools, you will have to look it up online or on youtube.

Took a little getting used to using this. Did get a good crimp after messing up the first time. Directions on package are definitely lacking enough detail to do it right the first time.
