Wore the gloves today to rip out some overgrown and thorny brambles. None got through the gloves at all.Excellent and well worth the price, especially for two pairs. Highly recommend.

These gloves are excellent, I've been clearing woodland paths, lots of brambles & nettles & thistles,& all sorts of pointy things, my hands were protected perfectly. They are substantial but after a bit of 'wearing in' they are very comfortable. Waterproof enough, I was pulling wet grass & weeds not tickling trout. Two pairs for that price is fabulous, I wouldn't be surprised if I never need the second pair unless I absently leave the one pair in the woods, it happens occasionally at my age. Summary, these gloves are brilliant & marvellous, in a heartbeat I would recommend them to anyone, top marks DTC.

While these gloves aren't 100% thorn proof, they are extremely thorn resistant. In 15 hours use, cutting and grabbing blackthorn, hawthorn and wild rose, I only had two thorns through to my hand. This is pretty incredible for a relatively cheap pair of gloves. I would 100% buy these again as they are a huge improvement over the cheap latex dipped gloves that I used to use. Gloves are also very soft to wear. If they get wet through, they do dye your hands yellow, but that wouldn't put me off using them.

Almost to good to use

Fit well although if wearing for several hours seam inside one of the fingers becomes uncomfortable. They are thorn proof as tackled huge brambles without slightest issue. Good value.

Seem good quality but tight for extra large.

Good for the price, protects the hands, but the price you pay is the yellow dye used on the leather will stain your hands for a few days; this does diminish with use (when I guess all the dye that can come out does) but any moisture will exacerbate the jaundice hands look.
