The product is as described and seems to work fine once installed correctly. Given that is is intended for use with many different greenhouses, some ambiguity around installation is to be expected. That said, the product information suggested that an installation manual is included; what I received is a double sided, single sheet with some direction and a few drawings. The drawings should be clearer, and preferably larger to show more detail. As is usually the case with products from China, the directions would be much better if they actually employed a real writer to edit the engineer's instructions to clarify much of the ambiguity. That said, with a little study, it wasn't too difficult to install it on my greenhouse. So far, the product works well. Hopefully it till hold up for a few years. Time will tell.

I just about lost my mind trying to get this installed correctly on my greenhouse!!! BUT, I will say once its installed correctly it’s a glorious thing!!!After HOURS of trying I gave up….Let it open fully outdoors (uninstalled), then put the handle in ice water inside my home to close all the way, let it open in outside temps again, Then I brought it inside my home allowed it to close once more and installed it just after sunrise during cool hours the next morning. I think some difficulty the first day I was trying to install it was that it needed to fully open and close without resistance. 🤷🏼‍♀️I will say the directions are not great, video is also not great (to fast with no close up view).B/c I figured out how to install it I am ordering 3 for my other windows…..you better be patient and prepared to problem solve before you order this opener though!!

It’s impossible to remember to open the greenhouse vent day after day. as the temperature rises in the morning, so does the vent, when the temperature drops at sundown, the vent closes. perfect I recommend this to anybody who owns a greenhouse! As far as the installation goes I’m sure you could figure it out. It did come with instructions.

So helpful on those hot days when you don’t get up to the greenhouse soon enough to open the windows and door. It has saved the day!

I ordered this as it was less expensive than the others I have, it was a waste of money. None of the screws fit the holes, the cotter pins didn’t fit and even with changing them out, it still doesn’t work properly. What a piece of junk. DO NOT ORDER THIS!!!

At the end of the day it does the job but only after some cleanup and minor modifications. There were some burrs in the piece that holds the cylinder in and one of the screws stuck in too far caused the cylinder threads to be partially damaged when I screwed it in for the first time for a test fit. After backing the screw out a little and cleaning out the burrs it threaded just fine. The holes for the cotter pin at the end of the cylinder needed to be drilled out so the pin would fit. The bottom hinge design significantly limits the amount that it can rotate and I had to grind it down so it had enough range of movement and isn't putting extra pressure on the greenhouse window frame.So at the end of the day it's working well but it took a little bit to get there.I bought a different cheaper brand that was galvanized instead of painted and they were exactly the same design down to the bad angles on the bottom hinge. I'm glad I only bought one as a test since the others were identical and only had a different finish.

Works great, exceeded my expectations. Starts to open at about 70°F, can’t say enough great things about these.

I was concerned that this would not hold up well during summer storms. They open and close perfectly. Easy to install. They hold the greenhouse vents during heavy wind gusts. The only draw back is not being able to manually close them. Otherwise a fantastic product!
