Garden Zone 48 Inches x 100 Feet Black Vinyl 14-Gauge Garden Fence with 2 x 4-inch Openings

After declining a 3500-dollar estimate for a temporary fence installation by a fence company, I turned to Garden Zone and found this EXCELLENT CHOICE for an AFFORDABLE temporary – and possibly permanent – dog run. I set T-posts at 7 ft and wove strand wire along bottom, middle, and top of 200 x 200-ft fencing, then secured it to a gate in the deck surrounding our house. PERFECT FIT. Busy road and trail for bicyclists, hikers, and joggers within close proximity are no longer a concern. Dogs can be dogs – wander, chase squirrel and magpie, sleep. They go for a long walk each day, sleep inside at night, and spend the rest of their time lounging on the deck and playing or sleeping inside the dog run. (Good work if you can get it!) They accept fencing psychologically and physically. From close up: it's attractive; from a distance, invisible. At our last location, I used a double layer of light-weight vinyl fencing that could be cut with scissors. Deer and bear constantly damaged it, and patching became a regular chore. The 14-Gauge is strong and 2 x 4 is perfect size to deter smaller critters – skunk, raccoon, porcupine, coyote – from entering. A large critter got caught up between a short stretch of old rail fencing and the new. The critter bent a small section of the new fencing when it panicked and thrashed while turning around. New fencing easily returned to original shape. WISE INVESTMENT. (Note: I received no renumeration for this review.)

It is a very good fence wire. I'm glad I bought this one because of it's green color, and the quality of it is very nice. The wire is fairly sturdy and perfect for keeping animals out of the garden. I used a nail gun to secure it down and it worked perfect. Would recommend this wire.

I am using this to discourage the deer from eating my shrubs. It is a pleasant green that does not hide the shrubs from view. It can be cut to length with tin snips. As a matter of fact, the wire might turn out to be a little flimsy. If it doesn't stand up, I will update this review later. Right now it is doing a fine job of protecting the shrubs without hiding them. A four foot high fence will only discourage deer. The shrubs I am protecting are ones the deer think of as second rate. I doubt it would keep them out of Hostas or vegetables. For that, an 8 foot high 5 or 6 wire electric fence will work better.If you have a dog that is an escape artist, this bends easily enough to curve at the bottom of your regular fence to prevent the dog's digging under. You might even be able to bend it over the top of a fence your dog climbs. That would be a two man project. The other things one person can handle. I pounded 5 foot lengths of rebar into the ground and tied the fencing to that.

Good quality, sturdy, tall, green wire fencing. Attached to metal 8’ fence posts and now have a durable barrier to landscape around. Price seems high for what it is. Black and silver metal is more readily available and for less money. Looks like it will last a long time.

I was so surprised with the quality manufacturing of this fence!!! First fence I have ever bought that didn't have one single missed weld.............really, really nice quality fence and great rubber coating as well. Should last me my lifetime!

Perfect for keeping deer out of our flowers and garden.

This is a vinyl-covered metal. It just states that it is vinyl in the description. If you are looking for vinyl fencing, you may not want this. I thought it was vinyl, but this ended up being a better option for me. I used it to replace some vinyl fencing that kept my two small dogs in the yard. This is much sturdier.

Cut in half. Used 24" X 100' does the job for rodent garden pest!
