Got tired of wearing picks down after 35 years of playing. These always stay sharp. The only 4 slight downsides: they will scratch your guitar, your strings will wear out more quickly (they eventually strip the winding off) and, oddly, I hear the slightest drop in a attack/treble compared to a plastic pick. I’ve been using orange Dunlop picks for most of my life - it’s VERY slight. Oh, and they rattle quite a bit in the washer if you forget to take them out of your pocket. I’ll keep using them now, I like how they stay sharp - like always having a brand new pick in your hand.

For 4.99, getting two sticky pick holders is alright. Hence two stars not one. But these metal picks are far too thin, which leads to a number of problems: if you play with any enthusiasm, they bend out of shape. Unless you really change your grip, certain actions like fast palm-muted gallops become impossible: by the time you cirlce around for the third note, the pick is bent at the end and therefore misses the string.Speaking of strings, you have many spare if you purchase these picks. The other main problem with these is strings do not last long under the aforementioned sharp edges.Lastly, the sharp tip digs into your guitar which I don't mind but if you're for some reason purchasing metal picks to play with on a '59 burst, be aware.

The picks themselves are fantastic. They are thin, stainless and don’t slide off your finger. I love being able to store lots of picks at home and take lots anywhere I like in another shell. The reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because the quality of the shells is poor as they don’t close up fully when even half of the picks (10) is stored inside, they slightly open which concerns me but they didn’t ever fall out of it which makes this product good enough. The back of the shells Can be sticky but it is poorly designed. I could also mention the mark on each pick but it is barely recognizable. Beside these three points everything is great.

Very good value for money package. At this price it's an essential buy for home studio musicians to add a different attack or scrape when required.
