I bought these over a year ago and just got around to installing them. I was just about to give up on them when I decided to read the reviews and found a review that discussed my specific problem. The rubber washer inside is too restrictive, and when you mount the truck at the end of your hose, it ends up being squished and completely obstruct the airflow. After taking a closer look at it, I decided to pull out my Swiss army knife and essentially cut this washer in half as you can see on the photo. The opening is now much bigger, and the airflow actually unobstructed. I’m going to leave three stars because once I did this modification, the trucks work as they are supposed to meaning that they are normally closed until you put them on the valves which is what I needed in my tire inflation system. However, this is a major defect from the manufacturing or lack of attention to details. They source those rubber washers from a third-party, who my guess is assembles the entire chuck and ships them. The end result is a defective problem which if you’re not like me and scour the reviews, you will end up returning the item. I hope this helps.UPDATE: To my surprise the manufacturer / distributor did contact me to make up for the short comings. I did not expect to hear from them, especially after close to 6 months but they did. It shows a genuine interest in making sure the customers are made whole which I really like. I will move my rating to 4 stars because at the end, the product was deficient and I would imagine if this is left uncured, it will create a lot of returns.

Two of the four are very finicky, hard to get them to make/keep a good connection to the valvstems. Very annoying. I guess they'll do the trick; I might order another set to hopefully get two more "good" ones.

Locking air chucks are great! They lock in the valve stem one handed and felt durable for the price. The only flaw I had with them is that they leak air out of the chuck while not connected to the valve stem even making sure everything was tight or still leaked. Returned right away and will be looking elsewhere.
