Willis Music John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course 2: Revised Edition

This book and this course works for me. I’m learning primarily on my own. I have a little input from a teacher. He is giving tips and guidance that I didn’t pick up from the books. I have to make my self slow down and read each page properly and do all the basic exercises. When I do this it works for me. I do a few pages at a time but I go back and forth. I like to repeat the exercises many times and by doing multiple pages it keeps it interesting. I am 49 and eventually getting round to learning. This is working for me. I would recommend buying an book of easy play music of a genre that you enjoy. I bought simple hymn tunes. This has helped me practice more easily.I having nothing to compare this too. I am using this course as book 1 came with the keyboard I bought second hand.

Purchased this for my daughters piano lessons as she has completed the first book in this set. A lovely piano book for learning, great songs and includes some songs that pupils can duet with their teacher, my daughter loves this!!

3 stars as my 7 years old daughter doesn't like the tunes. So she le learn them to make the teacher happy but after that she learn other tunes more fun for her age

Son enjoys it, seems to be straightforward and aimed at new starters. He never complains about the book and like informing me all about the notes etc.

Book arrived a bit creased, but as my son needs it for his piano lesson straight away then I will just keep it.
