Works well as an alternative to the steam-easy frozen vegetables. I was getting tired of purchasing the one-time bags. Now I can buy them in bulk and use this to heat up smaller portions. The only negative is that it is just a bit to small for a family of four.

I’ve was looking for a vegetable steamer for one serving, instead of my large stop top steamer. I love fresh vegetables, not a big fan of frozen ones. I can make up to 5oz. of broccoli and cauliflower, and haven’t reached a max with beans or carrots. I was skeptical, and read many microwave steamer reviews of several kinds of steamers, before purchasing this one. I have been pleasantly surprised. It’s easy to use and clean. The microwave timing on the lid should be a starting point for anyone newly purchasing this. I’ve had to modify it for my microwave and my preferred ‘doneness’.

This was so easy to use. Put water up to line and place vegetables in white basket on top of water and put in microwave. A lot less messy than boiling vegetables. My broccoli tasted great.

i was using zip n steam bags but they have gotten so expensive. this is a great alternative. easy to use and clean.

Perfect for one person. My dumplings and veg came out perfectly. Easy to use and clean! But it and you won't be disappointed!

Love this really easy to use but for my microwave I have to do about 5/6 mins for my veg that have come out of the freezer

This little kitchen gadget comes in quite handy and works like a charm. The only drawback is that some vegetables such as carrots stain the plastic. Doesn't affect the results, just makes it look dirty. It's not terribly big, but perfect for two servings.
