Good fluid supplementation for cats that don't drink much water
I use these stews for my cat who does prefer dry food to wet food. He doesn't drink much water, so to supplement his kibble, I give him a packet of these with a few tbsps of water to get him to drink some liquids every day

Have two labs. They love it.
My dogs prefer this above all other wet food I add to their daily dry food.

Messy
Cons: I am not sure exactly what is the purpose of this stuff. I thought it was a treat that you could just give the dog between meals. What I did not understand is that it is not a chewy treat, it is exactly what it says it is, a lickable treat. I did not know what that meant. This is a messy little bag of stew that looks like chicken soup. It is basically a thick liquid. So it is not a little treat you can just hand out. You must get a bowl, and scissors to open the bag. It does have a notch to tear it open but I have to use scissors because it doesn't tear all the way across. Then when I tore it open, stuff came out everywhere and got all over my hands and the cabinets. So I ended up with a clean up job.Now the pros. It is a tasty little treat especially for my senior dogs that don't have a lot of teeth. It smells good. They lapped it up and wanted more.I think in the future I will use it as a topper on their dry food. They usually need something to soften the kibble.I cannot find a price for this product on Amazon.com, so I don't have any idea how much it is. However, the cat stew which is comparable is quite pricey, as much as a dollar for each little package. It doesn't really seem worth it.

Hartz Delectables Chicken Stew Lickable Treats
Holy cow this stuff tastes good! Yes, I tried a small spoonful myself and really had to resist eating all of it. It's not anything they can lick like a lollipop, but your dog will lick and lick the dish you put this food in. I rarely give 5 stars for anything dog food related, but there really isn't anything I can find to complain about. The ingredients list looks pretty good - water, chicken (small square chunks but seems like good meat), green peas, carrots, corn, tapioca starch, natural and artificial (???) flavor, rice flour, guar gum, carrageenan, xanthan gum and vitamin E supplement. Each package holds 2.1 oz. which isn't very much, but I guess it's just supposed to be a treat and not a real meal. My two dog devoured this stuff and I mean DEVOURED. And they licked the dish quite a bit. My motto, generally speaking, is if it tastes good to me, then it's got to taste good to my critters. And it comes in individual vacuum sealed type envelopes so technically, I think this would last years without going bad if stored properly and not opened until ready to feed. But I wouldn't want to deprive my dogs of this just to store it for a long time.
