The branding is a little misleading. I should have done more research before buying but I fell for the branding. I have not used silicones, parabens, sulfates on my hair in about 2 years and have left it naturally curly. But have decided to start straightening it recently and decided to buy this product to limit the damage. Little did I know that "no nothing" does not include silicones. I have used it on my hair and now will have to purchase a sulfate shampoo to properly remove it and am left without a heat protectant. Again, I know I should have looked further into this product but I fell for the trap. So warning for anyone else like me, there is silicone in this product.

I have awful allergies and cannot use hardly any hair products because of it. This product really is fragrance free and does not bother me at all. I still spray in a well ventilated room, with a fan, because it is still full of chemicals that should not be inhaled, but the fragrance is not an issue.

This product is amazing. I bought it on a whim, really liking the branding and the companies values and I thought why not give it a go. Best decision I’ve ever made. I recently spent about $800 on A LOT of tape in extensions due to hormonal fine hair. I was struggling to find a reasonably priced product compared to Davies oi oil which I love but I don’t always love using oil. The aerosol formal in this is amazing. My my hairs so much straighter and softer, and since it’s so frizzy when I straightened it before I curled it it was like glass. Now when I curl it it stays like glass but it’s so soft. It almost has the same sheen when my hair is too oily to wear down so I pin it up, it gets that same texture and shine without actually being thing and oily. Fantastic.

If you are buying this because you don't like scent be warned it smells like rubbing alcohol. It doesn't bother me that much since I'm just allergic to artificial perfumes, which this doesn't have. I hope it actually works (there's not really any way to know for sure if you're hair is getting protected). It does leave your hair a bit crispy as others have mentioned. Overall probably better than using nothing and it is perfume free but its pretty expensive for a product that smells funny and leaves hair crispy.

I have been trying to find a heat protectant without any scent for a very long time. This is really the best I have been able to find. It's easy to use and the results are exactly what I was looking for. It is a little pricey, but definetly worth every penny.
