Mueller Sports Water Bottle Natural Quart

I love these. Big, durable, no frills, I use them around the house and when exercising. I have awful night sweats because of a chronic illness and I'll often keep one by my bedside so I can rehydrate through the night. That's the reason I got them, I needed something with a long, flexible straw I could drink while lying down and thought, "Oh, those hockey bottles!" Anyway, they've surpassed my expectations. Love them.

I have two of these bottles, which I use for hockey. They are great. They hold a lot of water, easy to squeeze to get water out, and the straw makes it easy to drink through a face mask. It is also dishwasher safe, well as least I dish-wash mine.The only drawbacks to these bottles that I can think of are ... * The little plastic cap is easy to lose or break off * They are not meant for transport water as the easy to squeeze construction can cause water to shot out at the smallest pressure * I'm not sure if they are BPA free. Some ads claim they are BPA free, but I've yet to see that from a definite source.

I'm extremely happy with this bottle. The plastic seemed a bit thin and I was worried at first it would break right away, but that's because I haven't owned one of these type of squeeze bottles before. After several uses during hockey games (and you're not gentle when you're thirsty as hell between shifts) it has held up splendidly and provided the desperately needed water per design.I got the clear bottle with red lettering and it is nice that you can see how much water is left.The product arrived in perfect condition and I don't recall any packaging issues.Heartily recommend!

Bought this for hockey since I play in a beer league that requires a full cage. Works OK but I have a couple of concerns:1. Durability - it's a pretty thin plastic, and I'm not sure how long it's going to last. For example, it gets really weak when I clean it with hot water. The straw party is also starting to fall apart, even though I don't chew the end or anything like that.2. Hard to clean. The hole on top is really small, and impossible to get a scrubbing brush inside. I use Accelerade when I play, and it leaves a residue inside the bottle and in the straw. That said, I realize these kinds of problems are pretty inevitable with any kind of bottle like this.All in all it works, especially if you're just drinking ice water, but I'd be careful with anything else.

My son plays lacrosse and we quickly discovered that unless he takes his helmet off, he cannot use regular water bottles. And if he takes his helmet off, at his age, snapping it back on is difficult.So we gave this water bottle a try and it's been exactly what he needs. The water bottle is large and holds plenty of water to keep him hydrated. The straw is just what he needs so he can keep his helmet on and still get a water break.I would recommend this without hesitation to anyone who needs to take in water while wearing any type of helmet that obscures the face.

The long straw was the only reason I bought this to reach through a hockey mask. The bottle is otherwise worthless. It is made of such soft plastic with very little integrity, so it gives as you grab it. Comically, its large volume means it can't even support its own weight when full (the grip you have to make to pick it up at full volume squeezes the plastic to the point you are either dropping it or immediately squeezing fluid out the straw. It also has a slow leak at the ring seal even when closed as tight as possible - don't leave this positioned anyway but straight upward if you don't want your bag to be soaked later. It is both hard to pick up quickly and doesn't easily respond to squeezing when half full or less due to the air leak at the seal. These attributes make a quick drink at the bench a job.

Tastes like chemicals. Soaked it with bleach water and soapy water. It still tastes like chemicals. Left it out in the sunlight for a day, hoping to air it out. It still makes every drop of water taste like plastic chemicals.

I love this water bottle! I initially ordered it because I had jaw surgery and couldn't use a straw (thus I needed this straw to spray water in to my mouth). I love the size of this one because it definitely kept me hydrated and I wasn't having to constantly refill. Even after my surgery, I still use this thing constantly. It was inexpensive and has held up very well. I highly recommend!

Am a racing driver and this is a very useful bottle. The long straw allows the bottle to be used with helmet when visor either fully or partially open. A race weekend essential piece of equipment.

Exactly what was expected

Holds plenty of liquid, but don't squeeze the container too hard when holding...cause you get blasted with water :-)I like the bottle, but we dishwasher everything and it doesn't really sit right in the washer cause of its short neck and wide body. But other than that, its not bad.
