Works, Not a lot of instructions
The manual is a bit sketchy but after some on line research I got it working. Does what its suppose to do.

Works with PCI, but hands the system using ISA.
Works when inserted in a PCI slot, but hangs 4 different systems using the ISA slot.

Junk
It’s junk, high likelihood of the board burning up on first use. Don’t waste your time.

Cheap, avoid.
Used this one time on a motherboard to troubleshoot and everything functioned normally: got codes to check, and the diagnostic lights lit up. Plugged it in to subsequent motherboards and everything on the card has since quit working. No diagnostic lights, no codes, nothing.

If you have something in the adjoining slot, it's useless
It may very well be a nice card with the optional external interface, but this one doesn't have it. So if there is a video card in an adjoining slot (and no other slot in my case) you can't read it or press the button.

For older generation motherboards. The manual's English can be confusing. I had to read some parts repeatedly to figure out what they were trying to communicate.

I repair many different kinds of electronics. This card was to be used the next time I had a machine that did not post, as this sort of diagnostic tool is very handy to let you know what is happening with the system. Admittedly, it has been 11 months since I purchased the card, and have not had a need to use it. One case came up today where a machine was not booting, I pulled the card out to see what was wrong with the system and inserted the card into the PCI slot to diagnose. to my surprise, the card lit up, but I was then met with a horrible smell. Subsequent bootup of the card yielded. Nothing, for all intense and purposes, this card was DOA. I will be looking at another manufacture, as when I purchased a tool for use, it needs to work when I need it.

The labeling on the ISA portion mentions "back" but I don't know whether that refers to the slot or to the computer, and I still don't have an answer. It does work great though, and I was able to use it to fix a computer that refused to boot!

There just is not enough information to make any sense of it. None of the digits illuminated on a faulty PC (wouldn't boot properly) 3 red LEDS did illuminate but I could not find out what these meant.
