Powerful drill
This is the second one I have purchased. I use the heck out of this strong little compact driver, easy to use, great York.

It's a Beast!
This is heavier than some other brands, but with no brushes and variable speeds, it far surpasses all other brands on the market. The 3 speeds still allow you to control the speed with the trigger, but it limits the maximum speed. Using a low speed is nice for more delicate jobs. I have a 4 amp battery that will drive a screw completely through a 2x4.If you have a registered Ridgid tool that already has batteries, you are protected for life with free replacement batteries. Once you have that one item registered, there is no need to buy items that need to be registered with Ridgid. I have used Ridgid for years, the batteries will go bad, but I have never had any problems with the tools themselves. If your battery goes bad, it takes about 5 minutes to call and have new replacement batteries at your house in 5-7 days. With that said, if you have the old heavy type of batteries (MAX 2.5 Ah), this drill will be extremely heavy. Even with the new type of lithium batteries, the drill is probably twice as heavy as the yellow brand. With the old batteries, it would really take some strength to use this beast all day long - and it is a beast.

It’s so much better than expected.
It’s not like I was expecting it to fail, that’s not the case. I just didn’t expect it to function as well as it does. The brushless motor gives a noticeable boost to battery life, as well as reduces the amount of noise for which impact drills are famous. The led lights are mounted right by the chuck and THEY ARE BRIGHT!! I’ve caught myself using them vice reaching for my flashlight. Definitely worth the buy. My only suggestion is that you buy a 3.0/4.0 aH battery for even more power and longevity.

Quality tool and great price
I bought this for my brother in law. He has Rigid tools because they’re high quality and their battery replacement policy. He only had a drill and it was a PITA when pre-drilling then changing the bit to drive the screw. This, along with the drill make an excellent pair! Yep, I’d recommend.

Works perfectly as I expected.
Works almost as good as my dewalt 20v brushless. But I wanted a back up since I already had a hammer drill and 7 1/4 skill saw by ridgid that came with 2 batteries. You CAN'T beat the quality, performance and price. Just bought a rigid cordless belt sander from Amazon as an example of me continuing to trust this brand.

Replacement for earlier generation
My oh my, how I love this tool. Deck build project killed my older Rigid 18V. This three speed model is fabulously better. More powerful and heftier. I bought it along with an aftermarket high capacity battery which helps for bigger jobs. It drains standard sized batteries pretty fast.

Awesome impact screw gun! Just what I expected/wanted.
Awesome impact screw gun! Just what I expected/wanted. Plenty of torque and speed. I own other rigid products and am very pleased with the quality and price of this 1. Has a great feel, nice secure grips, and looks professional to boot. Plenty of heft and the light is a nice bonus.

I tried it today and I am quite satisfied with it
I bought the previous version of Rigid impact driver with the speed switch control incorporated right at the on off trigger. The more I press the trigger the faster the speed. However, I could not control the speed because I tend to press the trigger more than needed. I was so frustrated. When I saw this version of Rigid with the separate speed control I bought it right away. I tried it today and I am quite satisfied with it. By the way, this new version has 3 LED lights on the front which gives better illumination in the dark. The old version I have to threw it away as a lesson for my stupidity at first.
