I highly regret purchasing these socks. First off, they *smell* terrible - really, really terrible. It's some chemical stench that doesn't disappear even after washing several times (the smell was so bad, it made my entire laundry area stink). Second, they are not thick at all, especially in the heel, compared to other wool socks I've purchased. In fact, I wouldn't even call these "wool" socks, because from reading the questions/answers (after purchasing, because I'm dumb), it turns out they're only like 56% merino wool.Don't waste your money on these, spend a little more for better socks. I greatly regret purchasing 3 packs of these.

These socks were purchased for two reasons. Number one, I prefer to lounge in warm, wool socks. Regardless of your opinion, that’s my style 😊. Second, I appreciate the sweat wicking ability these socks provide while hiking. The trails were not anything to write home about and the weather was mild, but I was impressed with their overall performance. I've hiked enough to know a good product when I find one... I recently purchased an additional set for my brother for Christmas. I have been very impressed and would purchase again.

I had been looking for some warm wool socks but didn't want to pay a fortune. I saw these and read the reviews and figured I would take a chance. I am glad I did. They are soft on the inside, not scratchy at all and very comfortable. My reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is that they are a little too big with the heel not lining up with my size 10 foot. If you have small feet these socks will definitely be too big for you. Other than that, they are great and do a good job keeping my feet warm. Enjoy!

I love the colors of these socks. They are soft to the touch but could be a little thicker. My feet do get slightly cold when wearing them. I always wear holes in my socks on my right foot near the big toe. It's too early to tell how these will hold up. I'll try to remember how long they last and write an update. So far, I am pleased but no 5 stars because my feet do get a little cold and not sure at this time how they will hold up.Update: one sock already has a hole in it along the toe seam. Didn’t even last a month. Very disappointed.

I like this sock. It is very comfortable. I would say this sock is medium to heavy in weight. They do shrink with washing and would not fit larger than a size 10 or 11 after a few washings. Good for hiking or with sneakers.

These are great socks! The very tops are a little tighter than I expected, but they stay up all day! The fit was excellent, but I did not put them in the dryer after washing as I did not want to chance shrinkage. These are great fitting and they stay in place when walking, whether around the house or while outside walking/hiking. They also are very warm on these days when the temps dipped down into the teens. Very nice looking, nice fitting, soft and warm socks.

I like how soft they are. And some wool socks are hard to remove, while these are easy because they are very stretchy. The don't slip down, either.

My husband loves these socks. Just ordered four more. He's on his feet all day and works outside. They keep his feet warm and they don't swet. He said they're the best wool socks I've ever bought him. Thank you Amazon for stocking a great product.
