GOOD QUALITY PERLITE !!!
This perlite is very fine compared to others I have used. Suggest storing it in a closed plastic box on its arrival. Its very white and pure, very light and blows easy in a little wind. . I have added a composition of PERLITE below - it contains chemicals that can be a health hazard = so please store properly..PERLITE• 70–75% silicon dioxide: SiO2• 12–15% aluminium oxide: Al2O3• 3–4% sodium oxide: Na2O• 3–5% potassium oxide: K2O• 0.5-2% iron oxide: Fe2O3• 0.2–0.7% magnesium oxide: MgO• 0.5–1.5% calcium oxide: CaO• 3–5% loss on ignition (chemical / combined waterI used it to make a 50% perlite and 50% cocopeat which I keep in a plastic box to use in potting. It holds water, makes the pot like and repotted plants respond well to perlite in the soil.
