I’m 20 years old and engaged, and this book has helped me tremendously. Not only do I now understand how important it is for me to pray over my husband, but I can relate to the accounts given in this book which is very encouraging. This book is timeless. I’ve been praying the prayers before my marriage and have been noticing not only a difference in my husband to be, but also in myself. We must understand, though, that it is not just the reciting of the prayers themselves (or this book) that brings change, but it is faith in Jesus Christ who we are praying to the Father through. Please get this book, it will not hurt at all.

I was talking with my aunt and she highly recommended reading this book because of how much it helped my uncle. She thought it might be beneficial for me to read. A friend of mine also recommended it so I decided to check it out from the library. I was only a handful of chapters into it when I opted to buy a copy because I knew it was a book I would want to keep and reference periodically. I purchased a copy for myself and one for my sister as well.The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian is a wonderful book that every Christian wife should read. I wish I had found this book sooner but it's never too late to start reading and praying! This book is about 200 pages long and is divided into 31 chapters. The book starts with "The Power," which is a bit of the author's background with marriage and prayer. Each subsequent chapter talks about a different aspect of what is relevant to a man, such as his work, trials, fatherhood, emotions, future, etc. Each chapter includes a few pages of literature, a prayer written specifically for that topic and then several Bible verses pertaining to that topic. Unless noted, the Scripture quotations are taken from the New King James Version of the Bible.I really enjoyed this book and feel that it will help me a lot which, in turn, will help my husband! I read the book cover to cover first but I plan to go back and read the chapter(s) that are important at the time so I can really focus on those specific prayers. I really like how there are so many topics so you can pick and choose what you feel you need to read and then you can always reference other ones at a later point in time. I also feel the prayers are very specific and focused and I think they provide a good template to use. You could always alter them if you need to as well.I'm really happy I bought this book because it gave me a lot to think about and I think it will help my husband and me in our marriage. I think that any wife could use this book because it certainly can't hurt to pray! I'm considering purchasing additional copies for some of my Christian friends and I highly recommend it for all Christian married women!

Helped me save my marriage❤️14 years ago, this book gave me I sight into how to move out of the way and let God change my husband. Miracles have happened since then. Not because of this book, but because of how we allowed God to change us, through this book. Just try it!
