Premier Kayak Sit on top Kayak Handles

These look and feel the same as the original handles that were on my Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL with a big exception. The nylon that goes into the end caps that attach the handle to the Kayak, do not extend to the second screw on both end caps. In otherwords, only the inside screw of each end cap holds the handle to the Kayak. The outside screws only holds the end caps to the Kayak and don't support the nylon handle. Also, the nylon handle is not molded into the end caps but just tucked into the end caps. You can pull the nylon handle out of the end caps with ease before they are mounted to the kayak.

I have a fourteen foot kayak I bought used had many of years and straps broke and saw these on Amazon an purchased them. I like them better than the original straps from the maker of kayak. They fight right and are more durable. I only had to make the hole larger in strap, because my screws my kayak used were larger than the hole in strap. Nothing major, very happy with product

These fit perfectly and were only half the cost of the Seda supplied handles. Just be sure to measure the intended installation.Revision 12/2013 - These have done well but during one week-long camp/kayak journey we found out how critical it is to use the inner drilled holes for mounting! On one handle I had used the outer hole (towards end of strap) and the webbing pulled out of the plastic tab and could have easily dropped the kayak. The outer holes don't seem to be drilled thru the webbing so be be sure you are bolting through plastic tab AND webbing! Still think these are great handles!

These handles worked for replacing the handle on my LL Bean Mantee 120XL Kayak by drilling a new hole for the screw to attach. New screws were not included so don't lose the ones that came with your kayak. They appear to be good quality and durable.

handles are great and seem really tough.The only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star is that I had to enlarge the holes for the screw mounts.Not a big deal, they're plastic, but something to think about.

these are great handles and seem to be very durable . have 4 of them on a 17 grumman square back canoe . they are secured with bolts and work great. got me 4 more 2 put on my 19 foot grumman square back canoe . they sure make it easy to land canoe with kids . anything extra to grab is a plus . these handles are solid . will buy more when they become avaible.

Need the hardware to attach the handles, other than that they work great.

installed two new straps on the yak and knew immediately after putting some tension on them that they would not last. to confirm, the handles broke the next day when lifting the kayak with no excess weight. broke both on either side while lifting with a single handle. should be able to handle that load. I wouldn't suggest buying these from my own personal experience.
