I never had to replace cam bearings before. But I'm trying to make a best of a situation and I have more than one motor I have to rebuild. Strangely I can't seem to find one of these to rent or borrow anywhere so I had to buy one myself. I appreciate that it was relatively affordable and easy to use. There's a little bit of a learning curve installing the bearings in the correct order but I managed it and this tool made easy work of it. Thanks..

Worked perfectly in my Big Block Ford 460 rebuild. I had no issues at all. Highly reccomend

First of all I received the tool and before I opened the included plastic case I knew something was off. A lot of the parts were loose in the box. I opened the case and it looked like it had been used the case was broken inside and rough looking. I picked up the parts and everything was there but you could tell it had been returned. The company name label was also torn loose.I tried to use it anyway but it was to big for my engine. A waste of money. Spend a little extra and get a brand name. Even though it may look the same it probably isn't. I found out the hard way.

Decent product for the money

Good value, but if you’re going to only work on one type of engine its worth the extra to get a tool specific to your application, the expanding mechanism is cumbersome and a bit tedious to work with and has cost me a set of cam bearings due to the expander not being cranked incredibly tight and causing the tool to make deep gouges on the bearing surface. Only happened on one bearing but they only come in sets. Hindsight being what it is I wish I got an LS specific cam tool.UPDATE:After posting this review I was contacted by OMT and after investigating my issue made it right. Their customer support is fantastic.
