Sculpey Model Air Dry Modeling Clay, White

Always as I expect, I have ordered this lots of times. From my experience it's very durable, I've been able to drop things and it didn't break. Although when it dries it does crack, but I just fill it in with more clay. It takes a bout 1-3 days to dry depending on what your making. I have only ever used white, you can paint on it when it dries to give you the color or design you desire, so the color variety depends on what you paint it. It didn't have a smell from what I can tell, but that's just me. It molds and sculps really good, and it functions as a good distraction for a few days, if your looking for some fun, or you want to make gifts etc. Overall it's a very good and well made product.

If you’re looking for a good affordable clay, this is it. The clay is pretty soft and it molds really well, if you want a rougher clay this one is more on the soft side. It isn’t sticky but does get sticky if you add too much water or a little water on the surface and touch it. My clay figures are lightweight (since they’re small) and the durability of the clay is pretty good. Ive only had one clay figure be cracked because I didn’t stick it together right, but you could fix the cracks once it’s dry. I’d say it’s a pretty good clay. I would buy again since it’s affordable.

I bought this clay to use it for a Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus diorama. When I first opened it, I used some paint brush handles as well as my fingers for sculpting the clay, to manipulate it into forest floor terrain. It felt like it could be durable already, after the first day of sculpting it. After I coated and painted it, and slapped a plastic folder on the bottom, it felt durable. I am impressed with it. The clay does shrink and bend however when it dries, so when I saw that on the bottom I had to get more clay and add it the bottom until it dried flat and even with the table surface. To paint this clay, I first coated it with matte gel medium, then I let it dry. I painted the clay with 3 brown coats, to make sure the white doesn't show the paint. I then mixed a lighter brown and gave it a wash in some spots, using a paper towel to wipe off the excess paint. For the thing I used to put the clay on, I had a plastic packaging piece from a Jurassic world toy, and shoved some tortilla shell bags inside and taped it shut. I cut out a black plastic folder for the bottom, and used super glue to glue it on, this is a harder step. I did the same with some foam for the final step to complete the bottom. I did all this after painting it.

Super easy to work with and has very good results you need it

My favourite air dry clay. Takes a min to dry but it does not crumble like the crayola brand clay. Takes to paint and sculpting well. Sculptures last!

I don't like air dry clay. It's just me. I thoroughly love sculpey but not the air dry. Giving 5 stars because I didn't like it, but nothing wrong with the product.

A great block of air dry modeling clay. Easy to use and has stayed pliable since purchase - I keep it in a zip lock bag since I’ve opened it. I am making coasters with mine - allow it to dry slowly, so it doesn’t crack while drying.

This clay was super nice to work with. Very moldable and a beautiful terracotta colour. Once its dried (which varies in time depending on the thickness) it's reasonably tough and very easy to sand. I love it. Will definitely consider this product again if I ever want clay

Really impressed with this product. It handles well and is not brittle when cured like DAS air dry clay for example. It’s a really super quality clay suitable for professional use and amateur use alike. Great results and accepts a wide variety of paints and glosses.
