ACTIVA Plus Natural Self-Hardening Clay White 2.2 pounds

Needed quickly to fashion some small duplicate parts, so I took an impression with this clay to make a sacrificial mold. After letting the clay air dry for a few hours 'til it was firm, I used two-part epoxy putty and pressed it into the clay mold. The epoxy was hard enough in 30 minutes to crumble most of the clay away from it. The rest, I removed with water and a toothbrush. Minimal shrinkage. Worked well for my purpose.

I had never worked with clay before and was impressed on how easy it was to mold a face. I didnt keep the project so I made it into a block and will reuse for my next project

It comes with a good amount of clay and it is very squishy, making it easy to mold. Sometimes its hard to go over the same place over some time because the clay will start to harden and become more brittle after and hour of using it. I think its great for making a small thing but anything medium or large sized will need a lot more time and a steady hand to not breaking anything off and to really get any details. pretty good for the amount I paid for it though so there is that. :P

Pros:very easy to shape; was the right consistency right out of the package.doesn't easily get too sticky or too drydidn't crack after dryingCons:is a tad bit dark. It's dark when wet, but does lighten considerably when it's dry. Still never a perfect white.

I use this air dry clay to fix dents and smooth rocks that I paint… dries quickly and is easy to mold.It does the job👍🏻

I started a project with zero experience working with clay. This product came recommended online, so I figured I would try it out. I experienced pretty extreme cracking and it took several attempts for me to realize I was doing something wrong. There were no directions included, so I went to the manufacturers website.The website stated it should take 24 hours to dry for clay that is 1/4 inch thick. I was very confused as to how mine was dry in 5-6 hours. After looking up some youtube videos on air dry clay, the cracking occurs because the clay was drying unevenly and too quickly. To prevent this from happening, it was recommended that you place a plastic bag over your item while it is drying. I tried this on my next attempt and after 16 hours, the clay was still slightly damp, but was not cracking! After a full 24 hours, i experienced no shrinking and the clay was fully dry and ready to be sanded.This product itself is easy to sculpt, BUT it would have been helpful to have directions somewhere on the package. It doesn't even have an estimated drying time or ANYTHING. i used a good 1/4 of the block testing drying methods before I got it right, which is very frustrating.

Wonderful clay!! Work quickly though as it likes to harden fast! I wasn't able to use it all at once, so to store it I just wrapped it in saran wrap so that it was not exposed to air and then put it in a ziplock back. Worked like a charm and has not dried out at all! Oh and if the clay starts to crack while working with it, it is usually because it is getting too dry. Get a little water and and it to the clay, and that will fix the problem (it is messy, though, so dress accordingly!!) Any uneven surfaces are easy to smooth if you dab your finger in water and rub gently to clay surface. I highly recommend this!!!
