Great for Agricola pieces
I bought this container as a present for my boyfriend, who owns the Agricola base game, Farmers of the Moor expansion, and an animeeples expansion (shaped wooden pieces for just cows/sheep/boar).It is AMAZING and holds EVERYTHING. (The OCD in me had more fun organizing and placing everything than actually playing the game.)Set up:We set up the top layer to hold all items that are used regularly throughout gameplay: the building materials wooden circles, the shaped animeeples (original base game cubes are stored in the second layer), most but not all of the house/field/forest/moor tiles (extras are stored in second layer, as we never use up all of the tiles in a 2 player game), 2 x game player pieces of family members/fences/stables, and some other markers for sick family members etc. found in the expansion game. The bottom layer was divided up to hold all the decks: base game E, K, and I, plus expansion decks F and E. The divider slots for the long, rectangular section on the right hand side aren't the right size for card decks, but we stacked the 3 base game decks can be stacked side by side. Remaining expansion decks are stored on a vertical diagonal throughout the rest of the bottom red layer, about 1 deck per section. The last remaining spaces are for the other 3 player piece sets, extra tiles that didn't fit on the top layer, and the original base game animal cubes.Pros:-More than enough space and dividers to hold all the pieces and decks individually-locking mechanisms on both top and bottom are sturdy, smooth, don't catch, work great-Very good value - only $13 (12.99) for the perfect size; equivalent container would probably cost more at a craft store (don't quote me)-Size of compartments is good for any sized fingers, from my freakishly small hands to my boyfriend's normal-sized hands. Neither of us have any problems digging out pieces.-Definitely improves/streamlines gaming experience: no more fishing around the box for the right stone/clay house tile, no sorting through piles of markers for the right oneCons:-the handle isn't a great "handle", because it's just an indentation and not an actual hole. It doesn't make much of a difference in carrying for us, because we carry it horizontally or in another bag with the slimmer Agricola expansion game box to hold all the game boards-Once filled, it's pretty heavy, but you have to consider how many wooden pieces and decks of cards the container has.-personally, I wish it were a different color than red, but it's such a minor thing. It is a very primary color shade of fire engine red.-The paper markers, such as food, do occasionally slip into another compartment through the tiny space between the top or bottom of the compartment wall and the lid or bottom. It's never more than 1 or 2 markers, and it only applies to the paper ones. The wooden ones never slip through.

One of those unbeatable items -- best organizer box I've seen! Great value!
I have been using Rubbermaid's large clear sorting box for sorting and storing LEGO pieces for some time. They're big enough, cheap enough and flexible with a lot of removable dividers. But they are the devil's own thing to find. The model I use is available, apparently, only at Wal-Mart stores -- not even available thru Wal-Mart.com. No other Rubbermaid dealer (including Rubbermaid's own website) lists them. I'm assuming Rubbermaid makes this item for Wal-Mart exclusively. This Plano box, though, has the Rubbermaid unit beat by a mile in capacity, flexibility, ease of carrying and price. When Zi can buy this jewel for only about a dollar-fifty more than the Rubbermaid, I have kissed Rubbermaid goodbye. I just ordered more of these. My only wish is that they came in multiple colors -- only the Plano Porsche Red is available. The big red section comes with removable dividers (both single-wide and double-wide for the larger molded-in sections. These are big enough and deep enough to hold even complete smaller LEGO constructions. (I build a lot of small micro scale buildings. That section closes easily and securely with Plano's sturdy lockjaw closings. The secondary lid section is translucent and also dividable. The smaller, more shallow compartments work great for small parts. It has flexible snap closures, which seem secure enough for the purpose. The combination of both types of storage in one unit with a carrying handle is unbeatable at $10 price point, it is Prime eligible as well, so no shipping costs for me! Why would I face the time, gas and hassle of dealing with Wal-Mart, when I can have these in two days brought right to my door. This thing is a steal if you need to store and/or card around small items at all. Great for small fishing tackle, beads and small crafts, electronics, sewing supplies, etc. A lot of adult fans of LEGO are embracing them, as are miniatures gamers. (When you search for these on Amazon, you'll see a lot of miniatures from the Star Wars X-Wing tabletop game listed as "purchasers also bought" items. That's because fans of this particular game have been sharing recommendations for this storage box in forums and on social media!)This is one of those items on Amazon that's a great bargain you should not miss. It is #1 seller on Amazon for tool boxes as I write this, and it is easy to see why.The larger 5232-01 Plano Double-Sided Lockjaw organizer is also available from Amazon. Though it has two of the same deep red compartments back to back with a single handle, it does not have the secondary translucent boxes as lids for those compartments. If it did, I'd probably buy those, too at the $18 price point on Amazon, but without the secondary compartments, it isn't nearly as good a deal.

Excellent product
Excellent product. Am using in forStoring magnetic letters in school. Could do with extra dividers for the lower tray though. It doesn’t come with enough for the amount of possible spaces.

Excelente producto

i dont know whats the intended pourpose of this
...but i use it to store x-wing miniature game and is awesome for that, my actual 28 ships fits very well (including millenium falcon, 1 aggresor, 1 yt 2400 and a lambda) and still have room for cards, range rules, templates, and a lot more, and room for like... 5 more ships without having to take out something else.
