I can see how some would love it... but it's not for everone
I ok. It's a nice versatile powder because of the sponge factor. But since I bought it based on the reviews, I feel I should add my own to the mix.I have beige-toned, combo skin. I am still looking for a better powder for me... 2 days after buying it. I'm experiencing a wee bit of buyers remorse on this. Just a wee bit. Not worth returning, though. I don't believe in returning this kind of thing since it's close-enough... but I won't be reordering. Let me tell you why.The beige color if applied with the sponge for full-coverage didn't make me look like all the world was my stage. It made me look like I was really beige - like the walls. Putting on full coverage with the sponge commits you to a full face of make-up because you gotta add all that color back into your tone that this powder covers up. When I first put it on with the sponge I was a little shocked. I looked like a stage actor from the '40's. Ok... so then I put a full face of color on top and it looked good, it stayed well, and to some people it might have looked normal, but to me it looked 'made up'.The one good thing is that it didn't feel made up. It was light in texture and I forgot I was wearing it. I think that's why I got shocked when I saw myself. Anyway, there was a time when I might have liked this powder a lot. I used to have/choose to wear full coverage and it always felt so gross and heavy. If I had/chose to cover marks on my face I am sure I would be happy with this. But my face is clear now except for some red marks around my nose - which this didn't seem to cover that great because of the location - and some dark circles around my eyes - ditto. But the main thing is if you don't need full coverage - why go there? It's so much more work. Maybe as a spot treatment it might be good. But the stage beige is not working with my beige skin in that usage. So why am I keeping it? Well... as a setting powder with my big fluffy brush it works fine. It's a little pricey for that, especially because this thing seems to highlight the existence of my pores. I'm not loving that at all. Hence, the search continues. My recommendation is if you choose to wear a full-coverage powder that will cover red/purple acne marks with a sponge that you can also sometimes use with a fluffy brush, this will probably be fine. I emphasize probably, because that's not my need right now. Just make sure you're happy with the color. This is not the 'beige' I'm used to. If you want to use this strictly for dusting and were also hoping to sponge it in to conceal around the nose and eyes, like I was... you might be disappointed like me.Like I say, I can see how some people would love it, but it's not for everyone.

Absolute Winner - Already My 3rd Time
With so many options out there, choosing the best foundtion for you could be a challenge. And many of the foundations from expensive brands do a good job of giving you a smooth, even-looking skin.So how can you tell you have found the GREAT foundation, not just a good one? I think you know for sure when you stop looking for a better one. I used to be a "foundation hopper"; I would try one from a well-known brand, feeling that it was "fairly good" then switch to other ones, hoping that there might be an even better one. After having tried most of the well-known brands, from Chanel Lumiere to Dior to Nars, I can finally tell with a confidence that this foundation by Benefit Cosmetics is the absolute winner. This is my 3rd purchase, and I intend to remain their loyal customer. What makes this foundation uniquely outstanding:-this one does not just cover the skin. It transforms the skin into a flawless-looking, almost air-brushed look. The powder of this foundation is extremely fine, absorbing any excess oil as well. A true savior for oily-skined gal like me-The light powder is extremely easy to apply. I use the complementary brush that comes in the case, and it works great (unlike the free brushes of many other foundations)-The natural look. Even if you layer the foundation (for touch-up etc.), the result is very natural. Your skin will look like the skin of a model - the one with natural glow and flawlessly even yet very natural lookCons:-The price. Because the powder is very fine, the foundation sticks to the brush extremely well and disappears very fast!- The foundation does not stay very well, because it is so light. If a white clothing wipes your face even lightly, the foundation will stick to the clothingAll in all, an absolute 5++ stars. Try this, you will not regret your purchase.

I can't live without it!
Just a fantastically great spot-hiding powder-based concealer that doubles as a foundation. Not cheap but last for months:you get your money's worth.I use my own soft brush (not included) to lightly cover my face then a smaller brush to dab more coverage on spots. Then I use a kabuki brush to blend it all. Then I pat pressed powder over forehead, nose and chin. Red spots will really disappear!1.You will look polished and smooth if you build from light coverage to more coverage and then blend well with a very soft brush.2.It holds up well if your complexion is anything less than matte: I myself have an oily complexion that I'm still waiting to outgrow even though I am 40.3.I wouldn't use it for under eye concealment: if you have any lines the product will settle there.4.Exfoliating combined with a very light face lotion really helps the product go on smoothly and evenly.2017 EDIT: Warning. Rant.$49.15 is a crazy price to pay for this item. I bought this for $22.50 in 2014 which was actually a pretty good deal at the time + free prime shipping = even better deal. Also, back then I was 100% naive about fake makeup on Amazon - basically I had no idea that counterfeit makeup was even a thing. Maybe 3 years ago, it wasn't as prevalent as it seems to be now... Anyway it kinda kills me that this marketplace that used to be the place to go to get some great deals has gone rather haywire with the price gouging when it comes to certain products, specifically luxury makeup items. I've seen 200 and 300% markups on here, people. With Beautylish, Sephora and Ulta and even Macy's online stores one of them is bound to ship to your location. Don't pay these nutty prices! There more people pay the more common prices like this will become. OK. Rant over.

brilliant
I LOVE this product! I really struggle to find a foundation that suits my skin, but this matches perfectly. I have really pale skin, so usually anything I try makes me yellow! It doesn't give a thick covering so may not be suitable for some people, but has two different brushes so you can make the covering slightly thicker on blemishes / spots. I use it everyday, and seems to be lasting well. Definitely worth the money!
