I tried a couple of other coin books and this blows them away with its level of detail. Highly recommend.

Great reference book.
This will make a great reference book for the future. Other than a crease on the back cover and a crease in one of the pages of the book , it is in good condition. The page crease looks like it was a preprinting error. None of that takes away from the reference value of this book.

If you are starting out, BUY this book first if looking for error coinage!!!!! Wish I had!!!
Wish I purchased this book first! Love the cherry pickers guide, but I find this book, Strike it Rich with Pocket change, helped me discern errors much easier! I lists all denominations in this book, where Cherry Pickers Guide has denominations spread in 3 books. In my opinion if you are starting out, buy this book first and then buy Cherry Pickers Guide for reference!

Good choice for a change collector.
Nice book for a change collector. Lots of useful information. Loved that it had so many pictures so you could physically see exactly what the coins looked like. Much easier to retain the information that way.

Great value. Easy to read.
Very good book for new and old coin collectors alike. The facts are bare, but the book is easy to follow. The photography is adequate, but I would like to see color images. Other than that, this is a great buy. You’ll need another source for error coins from 2021 forward.

It's in the title..."Pocket Change."
As a new (what I call myself), "Armchair coin collector" I am loading up on coin guides. I recently got the 'Strike It Rich with Pocket Change, 5'th edition' guide. I also bought all three volumes of the 'CherryPickers' 6'th edition' guides. As others have mentioned, it seems the Strike it Rich guide has some gaps. For example, the Lincoln cent information begins at 1959 and stops at 2020. The first Lincoln cent was minted in 1909 so where are the first 50 years? Dawned on me that the title includes "Pocket Change." How many people have a 1909 or a 1955 in their pockets or change jar? On the plus side, what information is provided in this guide is good. For example I have probably passed over quite a few 1968-D quarters because while the Cherrypickers' guide shows one picture of 1968-D coin it doesn't show the error I found as well as I see in Strike it Rich. The latter images are, I feel, better pictures. The 1968-D DDR I recently found in a roll was exactly as shown in the Strike it Rich guide. As a new coin collector I would recommend both the 'Strike it Rich', and the three volumes of the 'Cherrypickers' ' guides. However a ton of information online. I have filled in the gaps from the guide books with information gleaned from the internet. Good hunting!
