Goo Gone Coffee Maker Cleaner - Safely Removes Residue - 16 Fl. Oz

Got this for my automatic coffee maker to descale the insides. It does that very well. However, I also have a stainless water filter that gets a little scale on the inside, too. Tried it on this, and worked like a champ. I've also used it on my shower head and my sink sprayer. Worked superbly. When you realize this is for descaling (not getting off coffee oil stains) then it does that SUPERBLY! So, just to see what might happen, I ran it through my percolator. It was cleaner than when I began, but it was not pristine. Considering that's not what this is FOR, I never expected all the coffee oil stains to be gone, but I'm a happy consumer on the descaling front. FAR better than the "Keurig" brand, that's certain.

We use this to clean our Lattissima Plus machine. We used to buy it at a big box store but couldn't find it on our last trip so were happy to find it here. Saves us a lot of money (versus the expensive name brand cleaner) and cleans the espresso machine just fine. We've cleaned the machine many times over the last two years and the machine is still working and the coffee still tastes great, so all is well.

My ninja coffeemaker with its water tank was always hard to clean, even with descaling solution. Only took a couple runthroughs with this, I expected to use the whole bottle, but no! Also I'm not sure why flavour is in the review stars part but i'm putting it at 5 anyway. Dont eat this product.

First I would like to say I was a bit weary to use this product after reading all of the warnings on the back . Secondly , the instructions were a bit confusing . Lastly it didn't perform as well as I'd hoped . I used this for my regular coffee maker and Keurig 2.0. Each seemed a tad better , but I feel it was the same results as using vinegar . I had been hoping for a deeper clean . Also ran about a zillion cups through to make sure it was gone because I was scared from all of the warnings .

Used this for my Cruisinart coffee maker. Easy to use and does a good job of removing coffee oils. I like the results this product gives.

I have used many different coffee cleaner solutions, Goo Gone works the best!

This stuff works!! I tried several things in my Hamilton Beach Flex Brew and this is the only thing that cleared up the problem. Worked instantly!

I was interested in trying this descaler because I have no qualms about using cheapo brands and I thought the ingredients sounded interesting, a mix of citric, glycolic, and Amidosulfonic acid like in Durgol. I tried it on two older coffee machines - one I thought maybe I had removed most of the scale already, but the other heavily soiled one basically gave out clear water, even when soaking it. I would not say this is "safe" either because in working just with citric acid crystals I didn't have a problem, and yet after running this through a few times I ended up with slightly acid burned hands that ended up peeling. To be fair I maybe wasn't super careful but I wasn't pouring it all over my hands, I was washing my hands, and so on. It really is very strong stuff, so I'm not sure how it didn't work for me. In addition they should have given an easier way to measure the amount. I guess it works for some people, maybe not on older machines, but be careful with this stuff!
