Great beard brush. Perfect size for smaller hands and travel, nice wood handle, bristles firmly mounted and wont come out. Bristles are stiff enough to gently but firmly go thru beard hair. FYI: the Bristles are on the slightly stiffer side so if you have a very short beard or stubble, and you brush your face/skin, it can hurt. Some call it skin exfoliating, i call it ouch. Just angle the brush a bit, problem solved. Highly recommend

Nice and small. Perfect to keep in my work bag, use on the go or just to have an extra one around the house. Bristles are nice and sturdy.

Great brush. Well made. I have bought a few of them to keep in various locations (home, office, car). It’s small and easy to use. It tames my curly beard much better than a wooden comb.

I have both sizes, since I bought travel after getting full sized brush that I think is absolutely perfect. Looks are 5/5, size and grip 5/5, bristles perfect stiffness and don't shed. It even smells amazing with a bit of beard oil sweetness smells of sandalwood and cassia bark with sugar now. Can't recommend enough the full size!!The travel brush was a very different story. The wood color was lighter and uneven in color, but not a big deal there at all. Here are the deal breakers. Bristles are mix of silver/brown/black. They are more spread apart then expected and rough; they shed over my sink fast with a quick rub of fingers with a variety of lengths from 1cm to 1in. Worst of all, the brush literally smells noticeably BAD and reminds me of a paint can with sliced salami. Letting the bristles only soak a bit in soapy warm water didn't help that sadly. Adding some Proraso Azur Lime beard oil to bristles couldn't cover it. I'm not even sure all the shedding was actually bristles and not sure someone else's hair, sus.UPDATE: I bought a second travel brush size, and it did not have the smell and didn't shed badly (just a bit). Bristle better, wood was OK and much darker. Overall 4/5 stars. I suspect the previous was used.

Great brush! Before I read about brushing out your beard I never heard of a beard brush. Bristles are firm enough to reach through the beard to manage the skin beneath - not only does it feel good but also is great for conditioning your face. Followed up with beard oil for the skin - I have read that increasing the circulation promotes beard growth.

*BFWood Small Travel Beard Brush * I have a bad habit of wanting a beard when I don't have one... and not wanting one when I have one. This round started off with a hospital stay and I figured why not? lol In short, I've had 4-5 beard brushes over the years and they go away when the beard goes away. Back to the BWWood Small Beard Brush: This brush arrived in a giftable box, is the smallest one I've had, but also the BEST for travel AND home. The Boar's hair bristles go through my beard nicely and the small size makes it easier to get to the hard-to-get areas behind and under my ears. It also gives a face massage at the same time. Great materials. Great workmanship. Easily a 5-star brush.

High quality compact beard brush. I bought this when I was traveling and realized I had forgotten my beard brush at home. The brush came smaller than I expected but does the job great. The fibers are firm and natural. Much nicer than synthetic/plastic beard brushes and for a very reasonable price. I always keep one of these in my carry on bag so I don't forget it.

Why did I go without this for so long? It is the right size and the bristles are not too stiff or soft.
