great value wonderful design we had a lot of fun putting this together with the kids veryu detailed design no missing pieces exactly what i expect from lego! ALWAYS THE BEST QUALITY.

Really fun to build. Love this ship; it took me about an hour to build. The mini figures are also really cool. And for only being $50, it's a great price. I would recommend this ship if you are a Star Wars fan.

How could this thing not be 5 stars when it combines two of the best things, Legos and Star Wars. I purchased this set for my child's 9th birthday.The good:-The set was correctly marked and age appropriate for an 8+ year old. My child was able to complete the build by himself in a fairly short period of time. Probably only an hour or less worth of work for him.-As mentioned, the Star Wars theme is cool. All the colors and shape make it a great replication of what you see in the movies.-The TIE Fighter looks awesome sitting on my kid's dresser. It's big enough to be very noticeable when you walk into the room.The bad:-I (my kids) own a ton of Legos. We love them. My only gripe is how much they cost. I wish they were just a little cheaper.

My son loves how sturdy it is and can play with it after the build.

My son was given a bunch of free legos by our awesome neighbor, and he’s been interested in them ever since. This year, Santa got him and my daughter a Lego table and some Star Wars Lego sets, including this one. Although my kids are a bit too young to see Star Wars, they know of the story and love this jet. Some of the steps were easy enough for my 5-year-old to do independently, but he did need our help as well. No complaints! The set comes with figurines and shooting probes.

I'm giving this set 4 stars because of its affordability only, otherwise I'd call this a 3-star setIt's an easy and fun build, but the "eyeball" part of this Tie Fighter is essentially the same size as set Tie Fighter set 75211, but the struts and panels of this set are about 2/3 the size of that set, so, once assembled, this Tie Fighter set has very wrong proportions.This is advertised as a pair with the X-Wing set 75301. I bought that X-wing, and didn't have any issues with the proportions (it's smallish, but looks normal), so I bought this TF to accompany it. I definitely had issues with this set.That said, the price of the 75211 Tie Fighter is exorbitant, so this is a good and inexpensive buy, especially for kids who wont care aboit things like proportions.There are also instructions on Rebeickable for combining two of these sets together to make a properly-proportioned TF, or you can do what I did: Download the instructions for 75211 and build your own, using the parts from this set, and about $30 (with shipping) of parts ordered from the internet.TLDR: It's a 3-star set, which gets an extra star for being kid-affordable

If you like to collect legos then I would consider adding this to your, both the design and mini figures aren't bad. Plus, you can also change the wings and make the set into a TIE interceptor.
