Emily the Strange: Piece of Mind (Emily the Strange, 4) Paperback – March 19, 2013

My partner and I have been reading the Emily the Strange books out loud, and this one is as good as the ones before it! It's hard to describe these books; a lot of their charm comes from the scribbly drawings on the pages, as if they really were a person's journals. And they're great for showing the value of keen intelligence and analysis. BTW, we're not kids! And we still love these books.

As the last Emily the Strange novel (hopefully for now), this pretty much answered all loose ends from the other novels. And it did have a "quasi-happy" ending but not without a bit of goodbyes on some of the characters we have come to love (but hey, a full blown happy ending would not be Emily's style). Again, the classic humor of this girl in black is present, the quirky style of writings and dialogues of the characters, the brilliant strangeness and weirdness of the entire plot is present. Although the story is a bit predictable, hey who cares right? Its Emily.This story of this book is one of escapism - that is into the weird and strange psyche of Emily the Strange. Here's me hoping for another series.

I bought this on a thrift binge, thanks Goodwill(s) for selling used books on Amazon! Arrived just as described and couldn’t be happier. Emily the Strange is a staple from my childhood, I’ve read them all and now have them stored in our library.

This came quicker than expected, and did not disappoint. Super happy. Would totally order again. :)

Emily Strange is a terrifically imaginative and ingenues little girl. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was her age and therefore I love reading about all her adventures. Not only that, but the writing style is different and I love it every bit as much as I do the character development.

Sad the series is over, but I have almost ALL the comics. This book was the best out of all of them, I love the new invention, I love the twist about Attikol, and I really love what happens to Raven. I love Emily's...uh....'gift'. It was AWESOME :D

My niece read a few pages and absolutely loved the book. We got the series soon after being exposed to the first book.

I love the book but I have one question will there be more of these awesome books because I read the whole series and Maybe the next book could be about when emily goes back to black rock and bumps in to raven and her new boy friend

Al principio se enrolla mucho y dice palabras que los niños de 9, 10, 11 años no nativos seguramente no entienden. Pero luego la cosa se 👍. Espero que mucha gente se lea estos 📚

LOVED it, shipping to the Netherlands was fast and spotless. The book itself was amazing, having read the rest of the series I couldn't wait to read the last book. it was totally worth it!

Das Buch knüft schön an das vorherige Buch an und beendet die Story über Emily und ihrer Suche nach dem sogennanten "Black Rock".Wie auch die anderen Bücher ist es aus ihrer Perspektive geschrieben und dementsprechend sehr locker und spaßig.Es hat den typischen Emily The Strange Charm und ich kann es nur jedem Fan empfehlen.

Endlich die Serie beendet 😂Schade das ich erstmal beim letzten Buch englisch lernen muss bevor ich es lesen kann ... deshalb ein Punkt Abzug :)
