I am new to waxing and wanted to make sure I had all the necessary lotions prior to using my wax for the first time. I found this kit on Amazon and thought it would be prefect. It gave me a chance to sample all of the lotions without a large initial expense. This GiGi Epilating Lotion PrePack contained the following lotions: Post Wax Cooling Gel - A cool, clear gel with aloe vera, cucumber and menthol to help sooth and refresh the skin after waxing. Pre Hon Cleanser - Removes traces of makeup, oils and deodorant from skin. Slow Grow - This daily conditioner minimizes the appearance of new hair growth after waxing. Wax Off - Removes wax residue and moisturizes skin. I was extremely impressed with the Pre Hon Cleanser. I have very sensitive skin and decided to try the waxing both with and without the Pre Hon Cleanser. The Cleanser did make a lot of different in how my skin reacted. I was also very impressed with the Post Wax Cooling Gel. It had a great smell to it and did instantly take away the heat and irritation from waxing. I did not find the Slow Grow to have much effect on the hair growth. I seem to have new hair growth within a week of waxing. I am not sure if this is just my hair growth cycle, or the product not working. I did not like the Wax-Off at all. I did not find it helped with removing the wax. After using it, I felt both sticky and oily at the same time and still had the wax residue on my legs, face and underarms. I found plain coconut oil to do a far better jump for removing the wax residue and stickiness. I used an all purpose wax. Maybe the Wax-Off works better for certain types of waxes? I am glad that Gigi offers this product in the trial sizes. I will definitely be buying 2 out of the 4 again, once my trial supply runs out.

I have been using Gigis products to wax at home for a couple years now. I have the warmer and use the Muslin strips and honee wax. However I had no idea these products existed. Normally I am very red after waxing to the point that I have to do it when I won't be leaving the house and it usually leaves me feeling like I'm on fire almost miserable for several hours. I used all of these products this time and barely got any redness or sensitivity and it was completely gone within an hour or two. I will be buying these again and using as part of my normal waxing routine from now on!

These work well and smell amazing. Was looking for just pre and post wax but saw this and decided to indulge in self care. Small bottles but good value. I use with generic wax/warmer. Will have to update later with growth slowing cream results.

This is my First time trying these GIGI products. I’m pretty impressed. The pre-wax cleaning kind of gives me peace of mind before waxing, as all of our skin has bacteria and cleaning the area first without using a harsh alcohol helps before waxing and removing the dead skin cells. The cooling gel is OK but it’s not my favorite there seems to be some kind of menthol which actually kind of burns I have had some cooling gel that I was happier with but it does help stop the skin from after wax irritation. My ultimate favorite is the slow growth with Argon oil. It leaves the skin so soft and smooth for the next 12 to 24 hours and it smells lovely. I do think the full size bottles are a bit expensive.

Good size sampling to trial with. Unfortunately when my package arrived one of the bottles had leaked and was half-empty. Please take care with the packaging.
