Simplicity itself!
This is the first induction hob I have bought. It was to replace a very old gas hob which had become unreliable and needed new regulators, burners etc. This is so much better, although, of course, you do need to check that your pans are suitable. I have been using it for a few weeks now, cooking with a wok, saucepans and cast iron frying pans producing dishes ranging from stir-fries through stove-top casseroles to home-made jam - all without any problems. Here are a few things I have noticed:The heat is almost instantaneous. Cooking is quite different, however, as the heat is generated IN the pan, not under it.Simmering is particularly peculiar as the heating zones on low levels pulse rather than giving out a continuous low power. In practice this seems to work ok, although I am not sure if it would work for every dish. One snag with the zones on this model is that they are quite close together in order that they can be joined together. As a result it is a bit difficult to put two large pans on the hob on the same side, especially if you are using a wok and a large saucepan for rice, for example. This is unlikely to be a problem, but other induction hobs have the zones spaced further apart. It is very sensitive to any spills of water or even a pan going over the control area, generatiing an "error 03" message and an alarm sound. This can be somewhat annoying, especially as it happens even when the hob is not in use.It is much easier to clean than a gas hob, which is a huge advantage.Because the heat is actually created within the pan itself then, especially if it has a lid on it, there is very little heat going into the air of the kitchen. This should be a huge advantage in the summer, of course, but our kitchen is unheated, so in the middle of winter it is a disadvantage!Similarly, because there is no residual heat travelling up the outside of the pan steam tends to condense lower in the kitchen and it becomes vital to use the extract fan over the hob. This was not always the case with the gas hob. However, I am hoping that as a result the air and surfaces in the kitchen will stay clean for longer!I make a lot of home made preserves and it was very important to me that this should be possible. To do this succesfully with a large batch of 4 litres or more it is vital to have a very powerful source of energy. Sometimes I found that even a gas ring could not generate sufficient heat throughout the entire pan to reach a setting point for jam. On this hob I have made a moderate-sized pan-full of marmalade without any problem at all on one of the smaller, less powerful zones, so I am confident that when it comes to the proper season there will be no problem. There are induction hobs which plug into a 13amp supply and I doubt if these would cope.On the whole I am extremely pleased with this hob and hope that it will last as long as the gas version it replaced...20+ years!October 2022...Having used the hob for several months I have found more aspects which may be of interest to emphasise. It is possible to programme each zone to work at a specific power for a particular length of time. This is amazingly helpful! Also, regarding the jam making element, the zones can all be given a power boost of energy which helps reach a setting point. However, all this is as naught if the hob gets any liquid on it...a pan boiling over or even simply spattering from a frying pan, for example. This causes the in-built alarm to kick in and the entire hob to close down...losing ALL the programming. This is downright annoying, but there seems to be no way to adjust the sensitivity or turn it off completely.I still prefer it to the old gas hob, but I find this aspect particularly annoying.

Easy to use
My previous hob was also induction which I loved, so I had a good idea of what to expect. This is even better! I particularly like the slide heat control. I don’t find it noisy, my kettle is noisier. I recommend it.

Very good value
Good value and easy to use the only draw back is cleaning. I can't get the top smear free it might be that the manufacturer provided sum kind of protection or maybe I need to use windolene instead of a damp cloth

Its is streamline with no nobs to clean!
I am very pleased with this purchase so far. The design is timeless and very easy to clean with a smooth glass top. To use it is a little tricky.....but after 2 weeks, I am beginning to find it easier. It is very fast to heat up water soup etc. Over the years I have had Gas stoves, electric ones with nob controls, and now with induction cooking. I think it operates like using gas where the temperature can be lowered changed immediately. It does make a soft sound when on but now I don't notice it.I did not have to change pots as all my stainless steel pots work perfectly along with LeCruset cast iron. The only negative thing is, that I used to use the top of my old one as extra counter space, but this one alerts you if something is on it, but I can live with that. It is very keenly priced and makes for a good choice...Happy Cooking :)

Half side is functional
I purchased this product to install it in my apartment in Istanbul. After bringing it here, I called an electrician to install it but unfortunately he discovered that only the right side of the hob is functional. When trying the left side, it show the letter F and does not work. He told me that this is manufacture’s faulty and he cannot do anything.returning it back from Istanbul will cost a lot and I do not know what to do.

Not that sensitive and the buttons are weird to use
I had induction hob before, so for me the fact that it is easy to clean and all isn't the perk of this specific product but all induction hobs - especially compared to gas hobs.So just focusing on this specific product:- it is not as sensitive to cookware as my previous ones: it simply does not react with my stove-top coffee maker (previous ones did, it's definitely induction enabled)- I would expect the "+" and "-" buttons to step the power in their respective direction - from 0 to 1 with plus etc. But it is not doing that, "-" button simply resets it to 0 while "+" button sets it to 9. You can only set the between values with that slider between them but sometimes it's hard to settle on a specific number, and that's why it would be better to have + and - for stepping.- I feel like it's not as powerful as my previous portable one which was plug-in the socket - so this should be way more powerful... but this still needs a bit more testing.Altogether I'm not as happy with it as I want to be (can't make that coffee without a heat transfer plate) but it's alright.

All's well
So far all's well it's working as it should. Fast delivery. Only downside is it can. Be difficult to see the on off it could do with a back light. But for the cost can't really complain.
