Great solution for cabinetry!
We ordered these for cabinet doors that didn't come with the recessed cutouts for the usual cabinetry hinge cutout in place. The doors came from Ikea and somehow their configuration system messed up. Rather than returning the doors, we used a set of these and they worked great! They're well-built and work perfectly with Ikea cabinets.

Good product for the price
Quick Overview:Great for large doors. Good product for the price. Hung 10 inset doors (2 hinges per door) on a built-in buffet unit, and got the hang-of-it (pun intended) after about 3 hinge installs. There's no good template, so you'll need to be crafty (See below). The "snap" of the hinge was way less aggressive than people said it would be. Yes, they are tough to open out of the box, but once applied to a typical size door they work as expected. I read a review saying the screws were not the greatest - this is true. Not magnetized, and a shallow divot for the drill bit to dig into. Wasn't a real problem, just annoying when pre-drilling and drilling 160 screws.Template Process:Your best bet is to use a piece of scrap wood (same thickness as your door), set the hinge at the jamb (slotted holes only), then mark the scrap (with the hinge in the closed position), transfer the scrap piece to your door, and drill through the scrap into your door (slotted holes only, and don't drill all-the-way through your door!). Those drilled hole locations on your door will guarantee the door sits properly in the closed position. It's a good idea to use a very thin buffer material (thin cardboard...) to create a minor offsets between your scrap and the jamb/sill/head/etc... Once the door is hung (using slotted holes only), then you can make minor adjustments with door in open position, drill, and screw the door in-place using remaining screw holes.Good luck

Execelent product.
Hard to find a product that works well for the custom designs I do. This product is great and its the small things that always seal the deal. Talking about the fact that they provide more screws than needs shows that they understand the process where screws can get shredded or lost. Easy install and works great!

Cabinet door does not hold shut
I think this is a good product since it is easy to install and allows you to go from external hinges that show to internal hinges that don't show...since hinges that show are so 1975. Can't have that! Anyway these are cool because you don't have to bore out a huge hole into the back of the cabinet door for the European style hinges. My cabinet doors are hollow, so I couldn't bore out that big hole and do the typical European hinges. However, after I installed these, the cabinet door wouldn't stay shut. I'd close it and it would open back up about a cm. I'd push it closed and it would slowly open back up. Maybe these will work for you. Maybe my cabinets are warped (they actually are from 1975). But if these work for you, the price is nice compared to the European ones. I'm going to try a similar product that has the slow close feature - hoping that will hold it shut. Vamos a ver. Another downside of these is that there is no adjustment like the European ones. But that's why you pay the big bucks for those. Two absolute laws of nature: gravity, and you get what you pay for - I think Einstein said that.

Awesome product
This product does everything it says. Just didn't work for my project. The screws were a pain but nothing a trip to the hardware store can't fix. Doesn't have any/much play for overlay or offset. Lacks any kind of guidelines and instructions.

Useless for holding up overhead doors.
I bought six of these for lift-up cabinet doors in the RV I am building. They seemed like the ideal solution because I wouldn't have to install gas lifts in addition to hinges. At first they worked perfectly, but they quickly started failing. Now, two days after installing them, four of the six will no longer hold the door open and the other two are getting weaker. This pretty much makes them useless to me, but it's hard to return them for a better solution because now my cabinet faceframe and doors are filled with 16 holes for each door, and new hinges aren't going to line up with all those holes. The description says that these hinges are not for "big heavy" doors because of the short screws. My doors are made of 1/2" ply and are 12" x 20". I haven't weighed one, but it's hard to imagine that such small door would qualify as "big and heavy".What a bust.

Great for an uncommon cabinet door hinge need
Was building an attic hatch door and needed hinges that would make the door flush with the ceiling when shut. First time I've ever had a need for that and these fit the bill nicely. Should last forever given how often the door will be used.
