This is an excellent gaiter/filter mask if you have up to a medium to large head. If you have a big head or thick neck it might feel too tight. I bought for hubby and he struggled to pull it on and hated the feel as it's more like a thin neoprene than something which hangs nice round neck when not wearing it solely as a mask. Excellent in cold weather and as a mask I am very happy with this, knowing that it's got good filtration and I can also wear my specs all the time instead of adjusting them constantly as with normal masks. I think it would be stifling in hot weather or hot environments.

I have a big head and have to buy 64cm hats which tend to be the biggest you can get without going custom. Bought this as a mask for covid but its slightly too small and presses on my nose too much.

Was a little disappointed with this product described as a neck warmer as the material was rather thin and did not provide much warmth for winter use. Will keep it for when weather gets a little warmer as the combination of neck and face cover with ear loops is useful if the pandemic still requires face coverings.

Good cold weather weight and warmth. Ear loops didn't really work and were annoying. Could bring up to to top of head as headwear, but tended to slip back around neck. Mask area slips as well and since there is no reinforced nose area/bridge the fit to face is not great. So, makes a good neck-warmer, not as versatile as a buff and only useful as a filter mask as an emergency (Darn, I've left my covid mask at home and need to go into a shop) measure. Could be used in conjunction as a second filter system.

I have had many similar products over the years but this is hands down the best I have ever owned, I know reading this you will probably think it's so simple why wouldn't it be good, well the answer is the little things like the adjustable loops for securing around your ears, the replacement filters included with the product and it is so comfortable to wear.

Nice and soft the only problem is with a filter fitted no body can understand what you are saying.
