A great reflection of a 'hidden abuse'
Great read. Read it in 4 days. The feeling being a parent and being in this situation is real. To be the friend with a child in your care who goes missing is thought provoking. Lots twists and a great reflection of controlling behaviour, a 'hidden abuse'. Brilliantly written.

Gripping/Page Turner
Loved this book, It had more twist’s & turn’s than a Roller Coaster. This is the 2nd book I’ve read from Heidi Perks. Will be reading more. Highly Recommend.

Brilliant
I could not put this book down. Harriet's daughter Alice goes missing while in the care of friend Charlotte. Who has taken her? This is a gripping psychological thriller that twists and turns. I highly recommend this book. One of the best I have read this year.

Page turner
I really enjoyed everything about this book, the characters, the story line and the plot as well as the writing. It was a really good, well thought out thriller that kept me turning the pages. Looking forward to more from this author.

Okay read.
It was ok but a bit predictable and not that gripping. The book was a big sad at times too. I lost interest after a while.
