It is about a foot high, I.e 12 inches and less than a foot long, I.e. About 10 inches...width is like a picture frame less than an inch

No. The clock has options for big cities. If you don’t live in a big city it won’t update automatically. If you your power goes out or you unplug to clock everything will reset.
