Dell U2417HA 24-Inch UltraSharp Infinity Edge Monitor

Omg! The colours! The colours are so vivid! I never knew what I was missing until I got these monitors.My favorite thing about these (besides the super small bezel) is the height adjustment.. Sounds weird, but seriously, there's something satisfying about how easily the monitor just raises and lowers with minimal effort on my part. It also tilts, swivels, and pivots which is very convenient. Oh! Also, the screen is visible from just about any angle. I don't have to be straight in front of it to be able to see what's on the screen- which is great if you have more than one monitor.So about the borders, they're super small! 5.3mm on the sides and 8.3mm on the bottom. That's less than the width of my fingernail! There are also 2 usb ports on the side. There are all sorts of ports on the back too. HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2, mini-DP 1.2, DP-out, USB 3.0 (x4!), and audio line-out ports. You have options.I didn't have any problem with backlighting bleeding through the edges like some reviewers had. Black is black even when in a dark room.I will adding another of these monitors to my collection. I bought 2 but after seeing how amazing the display really is and I decided that I don't want to have to match it later on with another monitor.

It developed a line on the right side and the color is completely unstable. Bad quality!!And before anyone from Dell gets creative with the responses :-) I have access to over 12,000 servers and over 350 systems - I have moved this crappy monitor around the entire data center - behaves EXACTLY the same on any system - it's broke and it happened within a year of purchase.It does look and work really great before it breaks down!!

Excellent display, I am so very pleased with this product! I've used Dell displays for years, and this one is no disappointment! mDP is a fantastic display connectivity method. I LOVE the built-in USB 3.0 hub! I've been able to completely retire the old cluncky USB 1.1 hub I had on my desk. Bottom line is this is a fantastic product, looks great is cool, lightweight and super thin.

Solid screen. Light does not reflect on the screen which is a must for me. Quality is excellent.

Pros:Great picture! GREAT GREAT PICTURE! I don't notice any ghosting between work and the occasional game.Plenty of connections (the MST is great too!)Easy to unbox! (They finally use a higher end box that opens easily versus a generic brown cardboard box).Cons:No Dell Sound Bar capability (there are no places for it to hook in), so that's a bummer.

I must have gotten the wrong monitor because this is not ultra sharp. Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe Dell oversold "Ultra Sharp". Either way it's going back.

I love these Dell U2417HA 24-Inch UltraSharp Infinity Edge Monitors! They are very sharp with great resolution and color. They also easily attached to my multi-monitor stand.

Product came refurbished and without a stand alone stand which surprised me. The screen is great for video work and I clipped it to my desk which was included. Great choice if you don’t need it to stand on its own and don’t mind refurbished products.

One of the best sellers on amazon. The biggest apprehension when buying any electronic product online is that, whether the product we are purchasing is genuine or not. Is it a new piece or some used/displayed/refurbished product. However this seller is superb, honest and gives genuine  products with 3 months of assurance apart from the company warranty. He even assisted me in picking the right monitor for my work needs. Regarding the monitor: Its a must buy machine, i am using it for my 3d and coding related work and the quality of this monitor is amazing. Its a nice little addition to my work desk. The stand of the monitor is pretty adjustable and i can even turn the monitor 90 degree to read a long piece of code while programming. I have no complaints so far, and if by any chance I do find any trouble, i am confident that the seller's guarantee and dell's genuine 3 years warranty will handle it pretty well for me. Go for this machine.

Fantastic product from DELL flawlessly working since an year now. Had bought an LG monitor too along with this but stopped working just after two months and now the service centre denies to repair the product saying we dont have any of its parts with us. Pathetic LG, seriously repenting why didn't I buy DELL as my 2nd monitor too. DONT BUY LG BUY ONLY DELL .
