I was really surprised at how nice this stand up goal was when I received it. Great price! Sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to adjust. I filled with water and it was ready to go! Great for kids and adults to play! Very affordable and impressive!

We purchased this hoop for our backyard for my 7yo son. The hoop is a nice starter hoop. We like the fact that it can adjust to different levels. I would give the sturdiness about a 6. The pole is thin, which makes the whole hoop/stand not as sturdy. BUT it is great for his age, and he will continue to grwo with it for a few years (definitely no dunking:-)).I will say that the directions were not very good. You really need to study the pieces before you put it together. We are excited for it!

This adjustable rim is fairly easy to assemble but the size guide for the bolts is useless. The rod that holds the wheels to the base has no end caps so it slides in and out of place. I was going to order some end caps but the rod isn't even long enough. It is a good rim for my kids who are barely starting to play basketball. The nets included are very thin. I ended up buying a thicker net.

It's important to note that the hoop size is not regulation and as long as you know it's a little smaller then you wont be disappointed.I bought it to use as a hoop for a pool and the smaller backboard and hoop size was what we wanted, so this seemed perfect. The directions were pretty easy to follow and modify for our intended use. As with all outdoor/pool hoops I'm sure rust may happen so we coated all rust-able surfaces during and right after the setup of it with rust prevention (rustoleum clear coat). You may want to use your won wrenches when building it, but they do provide a pair of small told to assist you in setting it up.We've only used it for 2 weeks but its been great and looks a lot better than just about every other hoop in the price range. The base can hold a full 40lb bag of sand plus about 5 or 6 gallons of water and was fairly easy to fill. I wouldn't go dunking on it or putting a bunch of weight on the rim itself, but again for less than $60 and unbelievably fast shipping there just isn't anything better out there.I'll update if anything changes, but even if we get just 2 seasons of use out of it I'd easily buy it again given the cost of pool specific basketball hoops.

The media could not be loaded. The hoop is definitely good to practice on if you don’t have a court next door. The thing I dislike is there is a tiny backboard and it’s hard to do lay ups on or bank in. I would give this 3 out of 5 stars

I bought this as a hoop for a 1st grader who wanted to practice shooting hoops. With a size 7 ball, the hoop rocks pretty hard and I'm pretty sure if I kept using the size 7 the hoop will break, however, my son's coach wants him using a size 3 ball at a 6' height, and the hoop functions perfectly with that size ball. I'm pretty confident that this hoop will make it until my son outgrows it, and it is the perfect price and durability to experiment with basketball.

Didn't last a week before the goal snapped off the back board. Good for small children probably in the single fidgets. Not good for a 12 year old. Small goal. Very cheaply made. Waste of money.

Got this for my 7 year old son for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. It wasn't hard to put together and it is made out of quality materials. The only negative I have noticed is that he wants to dunk on it and it will easily tipped over when filled with water. May be possible with sand. However, we have had some high winds and the hoop didn't budge.My son is 4' and this can adjust to the perfect height for him. I would say he has about another foot of growth before this will become a bit too small, so if your child is over 5', I would look for a taller hoop.
