They are sturdy and clear, for those who like to see/read the backs of cards (some games you need this), so I always like to go with the clear ones. When I don't need the backs to be seen, I put the little hologram on the back of the card side. The sleeves allow for quick and easy side sliding/shuffle-ability, and the cards are very well protected. They work great. The only issue I could foresee is if you have some older Magic (or w/e) cards mixed with newer ones in your deck, it's possible some of the cards could look "marked." In that case, obviously don't go with the clear ones!Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and when (soon, I'm sure) I need more sleeves I'll be coming back here - so be sure to leave me some!

Exactly what I was looking for... The Ultra Pro Clear Protector Sleeves with the Hologram Seal, that I used to be able to pick up and the local Comic Book/Gaming Shop that came in the 100 Count Cardboard Boxes. I guess Ultra Pro thinks this this plastic packaging is cheaper. I prefer the Box to keep the unused ones in though. The left over ones now just sit around...loosely. Make sure you only open each packaged group, when you need to use them so the rest stay clean and in good condition. These are just a bit thicker than the cheap ones I found at Meijer that did not have the Hologram Seal. Strong enough to protect the cards, but not so strong you think you won't be able to play with them. Fits snuggly in my Ultra Pro 9 Card Pocket Pages for my three ring binders. Perfect Sleeve Size for My Star Trek CCG Cards, which is what I was hoping for. I plan to buy some more in the future when I need them.

These have become my go-to sleeves now for miniature games that use cards - Malifaux/warmachine etcMake sure you buy the ones with the tiny hologram, I purchased another pack of the ultra pro sleeves without hologram and they pretty much feel like penny sleeves.Nice and clear, take and wipe easily when using dry-erase markersOnly drawback is that you can not shuffle them, While I dont need to at all when playing certain games - I would not use these for any card game where you would be shuffling your cards with these on. Seems every time I would shuffle from the open end it would hang/catch on my fingers.This isnt really a bad feature - As its really not what the card sleeves are intended to do - They are to protect and keep the cards clean and protected - And thats a job they do well !

Purchased these sleeves specifically for Smash Up and all its expansions. The cards fit perfectly in them! Very snug, safe, and not a lot of excess material around any of the edges at all. They fit great inside the Big Geeky Box too, though they are kind of thick, and with 30 factions I've already used up one full row in it. Only downside is they are a little slick (but will supposedly get better with more use), and when you pull them out of the box, a handful of the cards were sticking together at first as I tried to shuffle, but really not a major deal. Overall solid buy, as I blew through 300 and proceeded to order two more so I have some on hand for the next expansion.

I found a sample pack of these sleeves within my copy of Shadowrun Crossfire (love that game, check it out).Found that those cards were a perfect fit, but I was not a fan of the hologram. Who puts a hologram on a card sleeve?Went ahead and ordered the Fantasy Flight standard card sleeves.I found that there was too much space remaining and the color of my cards appeared more dull when compared to the Ultra Pro sample sleeves.So returned the FantasyFlight ones and got the UltraPro sleeves and the cards look great, and shuffle well.

I bought these for Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords after first trying Ultra Pro penny sleeves. These solved all the problems I had with the penny sleeves. They fit the cards perfectly and feel very nice when in hand. I put all the "double sided cards" in these and all the single sided cards in the black backed version of the same product.If you use these for Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords the added thickness will render the plastic insert that comes with the game useless by the time you add deck 3. So be prepared to purchase some card boxes or come up with a method to organize and store you cards.Well worth the price.
