I had foot surgery twice in the past in the past two months. I was given conflicting information from my podiatrist and my doctor - exercise and stay off my foot. I had to wear bandages because my foot was slow to heal. I looked for a shoe that was easy to wear, easy to put on, easy to exercise in, and not look like an Abrams tank on my foot. I chose the Sketcher shoe because I had worn them before and had liked them.The shoes arrived quickly, and my first issue was, although they were exactly the same size, they weren’t the same size on my foot. The more athletic shoe gave good support, and were very good at standardizing my gait (very important), but the slip-on shoes were very easy to, well, slip on. But they also would pop off my foot mid-stride, which could have been an issue had it happened when I was unaware of it.The end result was keeping both pairs of shoes, but use them for different functions. My advice to others would be to look at how you use them, and order accordingly. Don’t assume that different shoes from the same manufacturer will fit the same in the same size - my experience showed that while one shoe fit perfectly in 12EEE, the other in a 12 would have been perfect. Sketcher has made good products that last a long time, and look good. However, when your foot goes under the knife, consistently requires a little more patience, and a willingness to return if they are too large or too small.My decision-point was that my experience with Sketcher was historically good, and the price allowed me to do what was needed without paying $100+ per pair. At $45, the knowledgeable risk was worth it when looking at a fairly particular need - and so far, they have been well worth it.

My dad loves them and so do I. There are easy to put on and take off, have good traction, are lightweight and seem to be holding up well so far. Bought them in extra wide for comfort. They look great and he likes them so well that we purchased another pair as a spare.

I did not buy these for myself. They went to a 82 yr. old diabietic who has peripheral neuropathy. He wears the shoes & tells me I did a good job! Maybe I should have given them a 5 star as he will always feel like he has gravel in his shoe from time to time. (that is the peripheral neuropathy)

These were a gift for a friend who is in assisted living. He loves them because they are lightweight and very comfortable. The other five star reviews helped me to decide on these and they are true to size.

Men's go walk sneaker with hook and loop closure. These are great for my 83 year old father. Laces are becoming a challenge and having straps allows for fluctuating fit due to swelling. I do wish that the straps were just a little longer. Dad doesn't need a wider shoe (this width is best for stability) but he does need the shoe to accommodate ankle/upper foot swelling by providing more vertical space. These shoes make that accommodation but, barely. I would/will buy them again.

Ordered a size 13 and the fit is perfect . The velcro close works much better than others that I have had. Very comfortable to walk in and their wide stance make for very stable walking.

These are great shoes for just walking around. Don't get them for anything other than walking. They are very comfortable and good looking. So far they seem durable.

great fit very comfortable have had many pairs of reebok over the years but the glue at the top of the shoe fails quickly the sketchers fail too but not as quick and what i like when it does is the way the sole fits up over the top so u can still wear the show until u reglue it if that make sense

Los compramos como regalo para mi padre. Los usa siempre.

Se los compré a mi papá y dice que son muy cómodos, es muy difícil encontrar talla para sus pies pues sufre de juanetes, además son fáciles de colocar por el broche velcro. Además el color caqui combina con todo, la medida es acordé a su talla pero vienen triple ancho.
