Great 10/10
LOVE this crimper I’ve had it for a while not and it’s great takes me less than 15 mins to do my whole head quick easy and beautiful/perfectly sized waves

It does get hot!
I love this tool—my hair looks amazing every time I use it, and I always get compliments! It heats up super quickly, which is great. The only downside is that it gets so hot, even the thumb rest on the clasp heats up. I actually burned myself the first day, so now I always use heat gloves. Other than that, it’s a fantastic product!

Worked great on my frizzy curly hair ❤️
Used this two days in a row and loved it. I have curly c3 hair that is fine and tends to frizz easily. This worked perfectly for me. I was able to wear my hair curly and then use this to add some texture and calm the frizzes on the top layer. I also used it with my hair lightly straightened (one quick pass) to seal the frizzes and then sprayed a sugar salt texture spray on it and it made for perfect beach waves.I only have two suggestions. Switch up where you start your wave at on the hair because otherwise you end up with one wave all over and it doesn’t look near as natural or as effortless. Which is what I usually go for. Use a heat protection of some kind on your hair. With the two heat settings it’s harder to find one that works perfectly for your hair. So you either leave it on longer or use higher heat. Any heat can be damaging so make sure to take care of your locks. The tool itself heats up quickly. It has two heat settings. I had to use the highest but I left it on my hair less time. 4 seconds is usually what it took. The clamp lever is on the opposite side from what I’m use to so if you have that problem there is a slight learning curve but once you get use to that it’s easy. Not a hard change to make for me.It doesn’t come with a book of instructions or troubleshooting or anything just a paper with a short list of instructions. It didn’t bother me much but it’s worth knowing. If you have never used one there are some great YouTube videos out there.

Cheap product
I have a similar waver where the waves are tighter. I wanted something a little more loose and beachy looking, so I tried the bigger barrel. When I got it it had black greasy stuff on the white plastic. Not sure if it was used already or just sloppy quality control. The plastic clip part where you put your thumb gets very hot, almost enough to burn your finger. I am almost afraid to keep it plugged it because I don’t trust it to not catch on fire. It only heats to 210 which incredibly low heat. Leaves very faint waves even after leaving it for a while on my thin, easy to style hair. Not what I was looking for. I’m going to try a more reputable brand.

Best EVER. Thick and long hair? This is IT!
I have very thick, VERY long, fine hair. I never curl it because it falls out after 30 minutes - not worth my time. I realized I love the messy beach-wave look more rather than a perfectly curled wave. I read reviews in this, bought it, and WOW. I’ll never curl my hair again! It takes more maybe 5 minutes for my whole head of hair, and it’s so simple! It stays for 2+ days & looks like a natural wave. Very happy!

Does not work for my hair!
There are a few things I wasn’t happy with. No included instructions. The piece you squeeze is too up far and my hand hardly reaches it. And the most important issue: It won’t make a wave in my hair. At all! I’ve tried highest and lowest settings and neither works. My hair is still stick straight after I try to wave it. Almost like I used a flat iron to straighten it. I’m afraid to keep the curling iron in my hair TOO long. I already detect a burning smell as it is. And the temperature settings are very basic and ‘70s. High and Low. Nothing in between. I’m afraid I’m going to have to return this. I’m sorry it didn’t work like I hoping. The smaller 1” make it TOO wavy—like crimping. I had hoped this larger triple barrel would give it a softer, beachy wave. Nope. More like NO wave. So, not worth the damage to my hair if it’s not even going to give me the beach waves I want. Or ANY waves, for that matter.

Works as advertised!
I bought this after buying a similar waver with 1” barrels. It worked well but the waves were smaller and tighter than I wanted. I took the chance on this one and it is exactly what I was looking for.The waves are natural looking and the waver was easy and relatively quick to use on all of my hair. My hair is on the thin side and goes down to my upper back, so your results may vary, but this worked perfectly for what I wanted. The 1.5” barrels create big, beachy, natural looking waves. I love this waver.
