Figure skaters can increase their spin rate by drawing in the mass of their arms, hands, legs and feet to the axis of rotation; in this compact configuration they spin very fast. The instant they extend their arms and hands away from their body, they slow down dramatically. They have increased their moment of inertia (their resistance to twisting). The Cure Rx Putters are much more stable than conventional putters throughout the stroke and at impact. The very high moment of inertia gives the Rx Putter much more resistance to twisting in the takeaway, back stroke, transition, fore stroke, at impact and in the follow through. This means you can feel a bad stroke (small muscles doing too much); but it doesn't affect the direction of the putt as much. And you can work to quiet your hands and feel directly when you do. You can feel the putter resisting any twisting motion through the stroke. This training effect and feel is simply not there in lower moment of inertia putters. The 1/4" and 1/8" weights are attached with 3/8" diameter stainless steel button head cap screws of three lengths (1/2", 3/4" and 1"). The weights and cap screws can be mixed and matched to create a full spectrum of head weight ranging from 350 grams to over 600 grams. The lie angle can be adjusted by loosening the two set screws in the bottom of the putter and the four compression cover screws in the back of the putter. The Veritas Cure Putters conform to USGA Rules
