mDesign Blooming Kitchen Sink Protector Mat - Pack of 2, Large, Clear

The product quality is poor. The clear plastic has turned brown and dirty in two days. Can you please replace

I have rectly had a Belfast sink installed with our new kitchen and was looking for a sink protector which would fill [most] of the sink bottom without needing to be cut to size. The fact you get two I think is great value. They are sturdy, durable, easy to clean, visually unobtrusive and very effective at preventing nicks, dents and scratches. The downside is when they arrived they absolutely stank. Not an 'air them out for a few hours and the smell will disappear', but an over powering stench of chemicals and plastic. It was so over powering it stank my whole kitchen out for days and took a good week of soaking day and night between uses in bleach before the smell dissipated to just a fleeting [bearable] whiff detectable occssionaly. I vowed if I couldn't rid the smell after a week I would send them back, so be warned you'll almost certainly need a bottle of bleach and some patience. I've given three stars rather than four, purely down to the inconvenience of ridding the smell.

These are lovely looking and really good quality sink protectors. I don't leave them in the sink all the time I put one in the sink and one in the grooved quartz drainer after dinner when I wash up pans that don't go in the dishwasher. It does stain after I've used tomatoes or curry but it's easily removed with a little bleach. They do have a strong plastic smell when you receive them but it disappears once used a few times. I'm really happy with them and even happier at the price I paid for two large mats!

I bought my last sink protectors from a well-known supplier, and they were pretty expensive. 'The Supplier' do not do this particular size, hence me buying from Amazon. I have a butler sink, and they fit a treat. My other sink ..... I had to cut the mat down, as it is too large, but great price, very sturdy, easy to clean. All I would say, and it being the obvious, these mats do stain, but a quick clean with bleach and Bob's Your Uncle! Very happy, thank you.

Exactly the right size for my sink. I use these mats all the time to protect my ceramic sink, the mats eventually stain, no matter how careful you are, but at this price, they are easily replaced.

Looks nice and protects the sink. It took a long time to arrive and was smaller that I expected hence only 4 stars. My fault for not checking dimensions.
