High quality, easy 2 use, provides RELIEF!
Very happy with this 'tool'! YES, it's expensive, consider it an investment & utilize HSA if you have one! The quality of this thing is phenomenal & it's heavy! I believe it will last forever & I don't have to worry about my kids breaking it! The 'massager bumps' are firm and placed perfectly. Underneath is more flexible and the holes allow for just the right 'give' for me to relax & put down all my weight while laying on. They really did their homework when making this! You can adjust the pressure by putting a pillow under your back(above or below) if needed, I think that works a little better than trying to hold yourself up. It really works & I love that it's versatile & can be used on different parts of your body. I mostly sit all day for work & suffer from lower back pain that can get pretty intense (which led me to find this) and just laying on this for a few min makes a huge difference for me! I start with my knees bent &feet flat on the floor, then push off with my feet, to create a little rocking motion. Then I just lay still & alternate putting one leg down straight, then both down together & hold in each position for a min or 2, longer if I have time. It loosens up my tight back and I'm usually able to crack it after using this, providing additional relief! Just flip it around & put it under your butt (you'll thank me later!) I didnt know I needed it for that but it feels amazing & helps with my back, hips and legs too! You can wiggle a little side to side or rock up and down, but for lower back I prefer dropping my knees (together) from side to side with feet on the ground to simulate more of a massage feel but just laying on it works wonders for me! I wish I would have found this sooner! It's saving me from the out of pocket chiropractor visits after my insurance says I've had enough for the year lol which has helped justify the cost. I took it with when camping for a week, one of the best decisions I've ever made! Sleeping on an air mattress, I could barely move when I woke up. I used this everyday as soon as I woke up (stiff & in pain) and I was like a different person after! Comes with a nice little instruction book, give it a try if you're on the fence!

This is a solid and effective self-care tool.
I purchased Lil' Mum Back Trigger Point Massager, Aug 2024. I've been incorporating it a couple of times a week into my evening bedtime yoga routine. I really like its weight and solidity. The silicon texture "grips" my mat and stays put. There's a bit of a comfort learning curve, to relax over the shape of it with all the poky bumps... but those bump hit ALL the right spots!THIS WEEK, LIL' MUM REALLY PROVED HER WORTH.I took a hard tumble - not seriously hurt, but my whole body, especially spine, was stiff and out of kilter all afternoon. That evening, I carefully positioned Lil' Mum, gently lowering my weight down onto it at each recommended location. (I was very glad to have been practicing before I was hurt.) At mid-back positions, with a couple of deep exhales, I experienced a half dozen spontaneous vertebral adjustments! This was instantly followed by a sense mental clarity and alertness...like waking up from the brain fog I'd been in all since falling. (IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I did not hit my head in the fall, or I'd have gone straight away for a medical exam.)Yes, it's a bit pricey. But is it too pricey for a well-made, effective self-help tool?Worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.I'd first ordered one of the less expensive versions... hard, smooth plastic...no weight, no give. Useless. I returned it for a refund and decided to take a chance on Lil' Mum.NO REGRETS!

Excellent deep tissue, pressure point device for deep relief. Highly recommend.
As someone with piriformis syndrome, this is one of the best tools for helping to release very tight, deep muscle pains really well. I am so glad I made the investment in this because it is really helping me. I had been using one of those balls filled with air, but it is hard to keep stable on, and I find this device to be much better at allowing me to control the areas I need deeper pressure on, where the ball is good, but hard to move on it, as it slips out all the time from movement. You could try a foam roller, but again, it is much harder to roll on for me. This is exactly what I needed for regular use to release those tightened muscles. Love that I find it much easier to use and because of that, I am able to have much better, quicker relief. Highly recommend this if you have deep, tight muscles in your hips/butt area. This brand is sturdy and I believe will last a long time with consistent use. Worth the money for me. This way, I can effectively get that deep work done at home.

Multi purpose with Lower Body focus
Not as hardcore as other Lil Mum products, but solid. Best for lowback and glutes, other Lil Mum products will be better for shoulders.(To clarify, hardcore on the glutes and low back, less intense than other Lil Mum stuff on the shoulders.)I find it very therapudic to use on my Illo Tibial Band in bed. Pokey and solid enough to give me the pressure I want, heavy enough not to move. Also absolutely EXCELLENT on Pec Major and Minor. Just lay back and rest it on my chest.

Excellent product, worked within a few days to relieve my low back and sciatic pain
I was almost swayed by all the bad reviews but I did my research. This is the real deal, well made and their products work. It is the next best thing to having a therapist do healing trigger point therapy on you. My low back, hip and sciatic was becoming painful. I purchased this, started out slow at about 5 minutes on sciatic area and low back. Yes it is painful but you just go slow. Each day after I saw improvement until my pain had subsided significantly in about a week. I now use this as maintenance 1x3 times a week. Other products are made from soft cheap stuff and do not provide the capability to work in deeply to get to the pain points. I saved up to purchase this and their upper back piece. Best thing I did so I can take care of my self without 3 times a week therapist or PT visits. It pays for itself.
