Snapware Airtight Food Storage Pet Treat Canister, Small, Pack of 1

I bought this container in the size small, which the description says is 4.2 cups. This container is super, super cute! It's made of plastic not glass. The lid screws off to easily wash and the rubber gasket in the lid is removable too. When in use, the lid top just pops up so you can reach the treats. The small is a bit tight to fit your hand into if you have medium to large hands. My hands are small, so this doesn't bother me; I can easily reach in to grab the treats. Larger hands might need to turn the jar over and pour out a few treats at a time. I bought this jar to keep on my counter top and fill will my pugs favorite little treats, Fruitables. One bag of Fruitables fills the container a bit over half-way. I only like having one bag of treats open at a time, so this is the perfect size. If you have small dogs and feed small treats, then the small sized container is perfect for leaving out on the counter. Highly recommended.

Cute, small containers that keep the dogs' treats fresh.Update 7/31/17 - I've ordered more of these small containers (for a total of 6). Just a couple of notes for folks - all of the containers I have received have had a charcoal gray lid and paw prints. They are NOT black, which is fine with me, but just a note since the description still says black. Also, as for how much fits in the small (4.2 cups)... A 16oz bag of Nutro crunchy treats fills it to the top, and a 13oz package of Three Dog Bakery Bitty Bites fits with a little room to spare. The seal on all of them has been very good and has kept the treats quite fresh. No complaints from the pups so far. :)

I had a larger version of this container for years. I stupidly/lazily put that container in the dishwasher one day and it shrunk right up with the heat. I loved that container because it was the perfect size and it kept my pets treats fresh for the years that I had it. I ordered this container as an exact replacement, I thought, but this one has so far been disappointing. The lid doesn't stay attached to the container no matter what I do. I never had a problem before with that. The convenience factor is really ruined by that alone. I wanted a jar that was easy to grab treats from quick that also maintained an seal. Otherwise I would just use the bags the treats come in. I don't know what changed, or if my jar I received was just defective, but it's very disappointing. The container sizes are also weird. I think I must've had a medium sized one before, because it wasn't as small as the small nor was it as overwhelmingly large as the large size. I thought I was getting the same sized container that I had had before in ordering the small from the photos, but I did not. That's a small quip to have and honestly probably my fault for not reading the dimensions specifically but I wouldn't recommend the small sized container for dog treats, its a bit small to fit the contents of a full bag of treats.

This is the perfect container for the dental treats that I feed my two cats. I purchased the small size and it holds 2 large packages of Greenies. The paw prints and lid are actually a dark grayish brown, kind of a bronze which looks good with my granite countertop. Note that there is an indentation in the plastic right under the latch of the lid. I thought it was a defect at first, but then I looked again at the picture and it is supposed to be there, I guess so the latch is easier to open. I use Snapware products in my cupboards and this is the same Snapware quality.

Perfect for pet treats keeps them fresh. Not too big. We have 4 dogs and go thru a lot of treats. So we keep a few treat jars, each with different flavors/textures. Chicken. Peanut butter. Mint. Milk Bones. Small biscuits.

Works great. Keeps treats fresh. Much nicer than trying to deal with opening/closing the plastic bags that treats come in. You do have to make sure to push down when you close it until it kind of snaps. Small one (4.2 cup) is a good size for holding training size or small dog treats. The bigger size is better for holding larger treats. Highly recommend, I have 4 small ones and 1 large one to hold all of my pup's treats. Also, looks much nicer than having an assortment of dog treat bags on the counter.

Perfect container for training treats. I was disappointed that a large price sticker was on the container. It was very difficult to remove. I tried to use a chemical remover to get it off but it melted the container. It still works though. The lid closes tightly and contains the smell of the treats so that's why I rated it a 4.

Best Canisters Ever. I have bought 4 of these. I love them they seal up nicely they are plastic they hold treats perfectly. I have also bought the other three sizes. Always get the ones that look like this with the paw prints. I bought a few others to test that looked like this but they were horrible to open and close. World Kitchen distributes these i guess but they are the best i have ever found. I have literally ordered 8 of these in different sizes. I use them for my dogs and cats.

Good snap shut jar. Love it clear as well so I can see what's in it.
