ClarksWomen's Freckle Ice Ballet Flats

I’ve bought so many pairs of these. They are my absolute favourite go to ballet pump shoes and so many of my friends have bought them over the years. Fabulous to take on holiday as they are so compact and great soles for walking. Why Clark’s stopped selling them in the UK is beyond me.It was a painful process to break them in (thank goodness for blister plasters), but I think these are a different design as the leather seemed firmer and the internal section was different. Funnily enough the black pairs were always so much more comfortable than the coloured pairs. A softer leather.Now I have broken them in I can walk for miles. Dress up or dress down, these shoes fit the bill.

The headline says it all, they are nice to look at and as comfortable to wear as slippers. I have had them for a year and I love them (have just bought another pair each in Black, Dark Tan and Navy blue. for when the ones I have wear out, because I think they aren't making any more)!!

I wanted some flat shoes which were leather and waterproof to wear during the summer and these fitted the bill perfectly. They are made of good quality leather and I was able to wear them straightaway with no need to break them in. They are a little more expensive but are more likely to last longer than cheaper alternative brands. I would buy again in a different colour.

I have a pair of tan pumps I bought years ago. I was delighted to find them online. I bought navy size 5. The leather isn't as soft as the first pair - I have feet issues and was a bit disappointed they were not as malleable as the first pair. I'll see if wearing them with some pads inside will soften them up. Overall though, for a comfort shoe they look great with jeans and skirts, with a nice formal look to them. very neat. fingers crossed.

Bought them for my mum. Brown leather, very durable and excellent value for money. Light and good fit.

I loved these pretty silver shoes, they were instantly comfortable to wear, also I liked the very flat heel. I bought them on Coronation day to wear at a garden party that day. They were the only shoes I wore for the next month. Then I noticed a change in their colour, the silver was turning gold, which I don’t like. I took them back to my local Clark’s shop, the manager firstly denied the shade change, then said it was my fault for wearing them in sunshine. He denied both a refund and an exchange. I sent photos to Clark’s and an email describing my treatment by my local store manager. They admitted the shoes were substandard and agreed a refund. I have since ordered a replacement through Amazon as they were half price and will now only wear them indoors for special occasions. They are so pretty they are worth this extra purchase. If you are happy to buy party shoes that you can only wear indoors I recommend them. I notice Freckle is now only available in brown and black - research may have proved these are the only colours that don’t change after wearing.

Slightly big,but will use insoles.
