An excellent utility knife--costly but worth it.
I got this because I use a utility knife a lot. This is a well designed, well built utility knife. It has an excellent blade lock--if you have ever had a knife come back on your fingers, you will appreciate it. The replaceable blade holder holds the blades well, they do not come out when cutting sticky cardboard. It offers a good sturdy grip, but is light weight. The only down side is the gray color which means the knife can be hard to find if used outdoors. I put strips of scotch lite reflective tape on min that cures this. I would describe this knife as being the Peterbilt truck of utility knives, pricey but worth the extra money if you need a sturdy, easy to use reliable knife.

Best out there!
Amazing Utility knife. Ease of use in operation and blade replacement. The craftsmanship is top notch. Perfect for EDC, it's super lightweight. Swanky for an Amazon box warrior. I prefer these kinds of knifes for EDC because the blade can be discarded in the event I forget I'm carrying it and go someplace where it's a no no. I keep my knife and can replace the blade later.

Great work blade that disappears in your pocket.
I bought this knife because I open a lot of boxes at my job at my job. This is a wonderful knife for that application. It is lite weight I hardly notice this clipped in my pocket when not in use. The flipper tab works wonderful with a smooth action. It is fun to use. The design ensures a great amount of control and allows you to have a lot of control when in use. It locks up nice. the frame lock is easy to disengage. There was a about a month long waiting period for this knife. I understand that the back log for these knives is high. To make up for the long wait Josh from Exceed Designs included the pry-bar attachment with a note thanking me for my patience. Very nice extra for sure. It comes very well packaged with the extra screws and barrel spacer. I also received a sticker. This utility knife is quality. I know the price is a bit high but when I think of all the utility knives I have owned and used over the years this is definitely the best one I have bought. It is worth the price of entry.I showed it to my co-workers they thought it was very cool. Thank you Exceeds Designs for making a very high quality product. I like this so much I am thinking of getting the black version too. If you buy this utility knife it won't disappoint you.

Incredible fit and finish
I usually can't be bothered to write online reviews, but I figured I would this time to help support a domestic small business. These knives are definitely not for everyone, but if you like spending money on things purely for craftsmanship and wow factor, this is a must buy.The lockup is perfect and there is very little play in the replaceable blades themselves, much less than any cheap hardware store utility knife. The detent feels better than a lot of Civivi knives I have handled and owned, and Civivi definitely knows what they're doing when it comes to making knives. The pivot is buttery smooth also. And I can't really explain it, but it just feels very nice in your hands. For having an actual reliable locking mechanism, its incredibly small and disappears into my pockets very nicely (unfortunately, this small size took me nicking my ring finger as I closed it to get used to. Oh well, lesson learned). Due to it's size and unassuming looks it doesn't get a lot of unwanted attention (i.e. scare people) when you pull it out to cut open a box or whathaveyou, which is always a huge plus in my eyes.Ergonomically, it's not great due to it literally being a rectangle, but I have to give huge props to Josh(?) for coming up with a way to make a rectangle fit well into the hand. The lock cutout and flipper tab combine together to serve as a pretty good feeling choil for your index finger, and the pocket clip gives some added depth in your palm. The corners themselves are chamfered nicely so it doesn't feel sharp when you grip it tightly, and the blade holding mechanism extends out enough for me to get my thumb outstretched onto it without hitting the top of the blade. If you have bigger than average hands, or longer than average fingers, this might be a different story for you though. The lock took closing it 2 or 3 times before it would unlock buttery smooth, but that's par for the course on a brand new knife. However, the blade holder lock was a son of a gun for me to get open at first, and the correct way to hold the knife and exact right angle to apply pressure on took me a bit to figure out, but it's been getting to be pretty trivial for me after a dozen or so blade replacements. I don't know if it's supposed to be this way, but the area of the blade holder that doesn't unlock is incredibly tight, and forces me to wedge the tip of the blade in first to separate the sides enough to slide the rest of the blade in. I assume it's supposed to be this way to aid in holding the blade, but I'm not 100% sure, so it's worth noting. It was nice to get extra hardware and blades in the box, although the blades didn't seem as good as the DeWalt carbide ones I use (but hey, who's complaining. They're free). They even give you a small double ended L shaped wrench with the two necessary Torx T6 and T8 ends needed for all the screws, which also ended up fitting better than the bits in my iFixit. Plus the stickers look cool, so its worth buying just for that ;)Overall, this knife is extremely well made and whoever is doing the machining has some serious skill, I know titanium is very hard to work with and even getting steel to a fit and finish of this quality would be hard to do.GGs Exceed, I'm exited for what y'all have in store in the future.

It's a pocket knife you never have to sharpen!
I have been carrying some sort of knife for fifty years. Since I was eight years old. A sharp stone. One of mankind's earliest inventions. Sometimes in your live you just need to cut something.Today that means Amazon boxes.A pocket knife is something that is supposed to be used. Every time you use them they become more dull and less useful.I used to carry a Spyderco delica. Brilliant knife. Ordered it out of a catalog I sent for out of a Popular Macanics magazine I believe.Never held it until it came in the mail two weeks later. When it came I opened up and I was amazed at how nice this thing was!I think I cost $80 dollars in 1992. It open up so easily and shut so fast I actually cut myself. Way different from having to dig your thumbnail in and pull the blade out to get it to "lock" open.I carried that knife for fifteen years or better. Not only carried it but used it, sharpened it and used it some more.I could never get as sharp as I got it though.I finally started to look for something else. Gerber EAB. This was good. Small. Capable. But was not comfortable. It seemed to be unfinished. Cheap.I ordered this knife on Amazon with never holding it in my hand and again I am amazed. The quality of this little pocket knife for the price is quite impressive. It opens easily with one hand. It closes easily with one hand. It's easy to carry. It's always there when you need it and it is always sharp. A sharp stone that will last.I can see carrying this thing forever. Get one!
