I really like this plug in. It's an adorable design and works great! It comes with an extra bulb and the plug rotates for outlets facing any direction. It does get quite hot, but that's needed to melt the wax. Regarding the melting, my plug in completely melted with wax pieces I put in and the smelled filled my living room just fine! I think that strongly depends on the wax melts you use though regarding how good they melt and the throw of the scent. The part the wax goes in is affixed to the entire ceramic piece (i.e. it does not have a removable dish for the wax melt), so that might bother some people, but you can see that before ordering, so if you don't like or want that style, don't purchase this. I have no complaints and think the plug in makes a cute addition to my living room!

I purchased this warmer based on decent reviews. It came in a timely manner and is cute. I was impressed that it came with 2 bulbs. That is where things go downhill. The plug in that I intended to use this in is sideways. This turned nicely so I could plug it in but the warmer is never square. This is a problem with melted liquid wax because the tilt brings the wax close to one edge. I could deal with that. The first bulb I used lasted 2 days. Just 2. I only had the warmer on for a few hours at a time. It did come with another bulb, so that was not a deal breaker either.Now. I have had and used this warmer for less than a month. I decided to change out the wax and carefully unplugged it. Suddenly, the ceramic piece kept trying to fall off. Come to find out, the heat made the plastic ears that hold the warmer on to become brittle and break. Now the warmer is unusable. See attached picture.While this warmer is cute, I would not recommend it.

I like the sturdy heavyweight design. I dont like the fact the warmer gets so hot as it sits close to wall.

I bought this just as a nightlight in my bathroom, but it definitely gets hot enough to melt wax. It comes with a second bulb (unheard of these days!), and I like that the top is closed in, preventing dust from getting on the bulb. The design is beautiful, and it's well crafted, sure to stand up for many, many years. Would definitely purchase again!

I use this as a night light in the bathroom. The wax lasts along time and still keeps its scent burning for hours( I bought my wax local) it comes with a second bulb which I haven't had to replace yet
