This leash is great. The 3/4 inch width is great for small to medium dogs who don't need a full inch width. The clasp is proportionate and is not abnormally large or small. The clasp design is also easier to hook onto a collar and is especially useful for squirming pups. The handle is also good and not too large or small. It has also held up to some chewing. Overall I would definitely buy one again, and at this price I'd buy more in different colours. Compared to the price and (bad) quality at the big pet store, this leash is a steal.

I wish I had bought a 4' Lupine leash earlier. I've previously just bought the cheap 4' nylon leashes at a big-box pet store. I don't normally work my dog on a regular 4' lead (she's a service dog and we either use an over-the-shoulder leash or a shorter leash with with a wheelchair), but like to have one on hand for backups/quick potty breaks/other random events when our other leashes aren't as practical. After yet another snag in the old 4' big-box leash, I finally bought a Lupine one. So far, no snags at all. The padded handle is comfy and easy on the wrist and skin. The clip is easier for me to open the the clip on our old 4' leash. Plus it just looks nice - higher quality than the big-box leash, a subdued but nice color, snazzy with the black padded handle...

This lead suits me really well. It's simple and lightweight, it folds into my pocket easily when not in use, and I like the orange color. The hardware is good quality. The handle fits nicely in my hand, and I feel confident I can control my dog with it. I have a very active 47-lb. Brittany puppy. I bought the 3/4" thick 4' lead.
