Tampax Cardboard Applicator Tampons, Regular Absorbency, 40 Count

Okay
Revisited the cardboard applicators due to environmental considerations. The tampon itself is just fine. There’s no doubt that insertion is less unpleasant with the plastic ones, since the plastic covers the cotton tip. That’s not the case with the cardboard ones so it’s not as quick. Still, I’m happy to give these another chance if it means slightly less single use plastic in the ocean. I’d give them 3.5 stars if I could.

a friend you hafta get along with
I've been using these since 1999 (I guess i'm getting old) and am still somewhat happy with them.Of course, other brands are more comfortable and leak-proof, and organic and whatnot, but...i still want an applicator. I want it to be cardboard. and i want my tampons to be inexpensive, because darnit, it is no fair already!

Plastic-Free Periods!
Proud to have a plastic-free period! Does the job, with less of an environmental impact than using single-use plastic applicators.
