A friend saw my pool and asked me a bunch of questions about it so I thought I would post my experience, bromide acts like chlorine but doesn’t burn the eyes and is not as harsh on the skin, it is more expensive however.If you are using this pool on a hard surface, place some outdoor carpets ($15 a piece at Home Depot, I needed two) under the pool, when it’s filled with water, cut along the edges. If you place this on grass without a tarp, the grass roots and weeds will grow through the bottom and leave pin size holes.I purchased Brom tablets and a floater, three tablets is good for about 300 gallons of water, since this is about 1200 gallons, I place about ten or so in the floater (be sure to completely submerge the floater upside down in water before floating). Before you do this, you will need a Brom starter kit however after filling with water the first time to “activate” the bromide, if you don’t you will not see any brom levels on your test strips for weeks, if at all. Put in three packets (2 oz each of the Spa Brom-Start) into the pool, circulate, then add 2 1/4 cup of Clorox bleach (6%), the sodium hypochorite in the bleach instantly gets converted to hypobromous acid (bromic) and you will get a bromide reading on your test strips. Add or remove tablets in your floater through the week to maintain brom levels. If brom levels get too high, expose the water to direct sunlight and let it burn off. If you are in a real hurry, use 'In The Swim Pool Water Neutralizer' (Sodium Thiosulfate).Peel back your solar cover for enough room for your floater to get some agitation and dispense the tablets.During the day I leave a solar cover on top to keep it warm, and at night I wrap an Intex Pool Cover using bungee chords. Since I don’t want the pool cover to sit on top of the solar cover or sink in the water, I place the bungee chords over the top of the pool in a criss cross pattern.I have a three year old, so I enclosed the perimeter with some Playard fencing. This is not going to keep a curious child out of the pool, but it will at least buy you some precious time if the unthinkable happens and a toddler makes their way to this pool unsupervised.People complain about the pump, but at 330 gallons an hour it does a fine job of circulating all of the water about every four hours. Get yourself the proper strips, Leisure Time 45020 Free Biguanide System Test Strips, and that is all I have to do to keep the pool clean, you may need to shock it once in a while, just use the Leisure Time 45505 Leisuretime Boost Spa Shock, again this is a more expensive solution, but it's the only EPA approved sanitizer for pools/spas other than chlorine and bromide.

This was a great pool, for the first year ONLY. We bought this pool because I was tired of my kids popping the blow up pools and having to buy a new pool every year. This pool has a great frame and the liner seemed to be heavy duty. We drained the pool, let it dry, stored it in the garage over the winter and just put it up today...exactly one year and 4 days from the purchase date. Filled it up and immediately found water puddling around the outside of the pool. Water seeping through the seams around the whole bottom. UGH! Now I have to buy a new pool this year! I SO want a pool that will LAST!!!!! and this one did NOT last! We only got one year use out of it. UGH! So disappointing.

The pump is not nearly strong enough to clean this pool. I clean it daily with a net. It stays covered if no one is in it. I use chlorine tabs in a floater dispenser. I brush the sides and bottom regularly. I am draining it today for the second time this summer because of algae growth and mosquitos. My kids are in that thing nearly every day. I don't get it. Why sell a pump with a pool if it's not half of what the pool needs??? Very dissatisfied.

I am so impressed. I needed a pool for PT for my knee and for when my grandson is here, but I have a small backyard. Still it's working for me so much that I may try to squeeze a larger pool in next year. My son and his dad got the pool up with no major issues. Even using the net to clean the top of water is a relaxing experience; the sound of water moving is very therapeutic. So far it is sturdy and totally enjoyable. Pump is working great. I did order a vacuum to help clean bottom.

If you're only using it for one summer, it's fine! It does not last any longer than that without leaking, and in 2020 with the supply and demand, paying more is just not worth it! Of course unless you have it like that where money is not an issue, enjoy!

Enjoying the summer with this great pool ! Just had to buy the cleaning accessories and chemicals ! If you maintain it well the water will remain nice and clean for whole summer ! Love it !

This is everything and more than I expected. It was so incredibly easy to set up; took maybe 20 mins with no issues. The pump works great, and I’m thankful I bought the package that includes the filters! I was able to quickly learn how to maintain it at our local pool supply store with a few additional accessories. It’s strong and extremely durable; I see this lasting for a few seasons easy. I recommend this to anyone with with or without kids. My 5 year old can walk around it in just fine, so we don’t have to wade in the pool.

This pool is great. I had a smaller EasySet Intex pool earlier but it started leaking after couple of years. This one does not have the inflatable ring and can stand on it's own. I am hoping that this one lasts little longer. It's a great fun for small kids.
