Gets the job done...
EDITED REVIEW SEE BELOW FOR MY ORIGINAL COMMENTSSo I may have been overly critical in my original remarks because I didn't really have a working system for using this product. One thing that I couldn't stand about this was it was very messy. From putting the water in, to taking the ice out. What I have found is that if you fill the plastic tub with warm water to within 3/8" to 1/4" from the top and then just place the blue silicone mold on top of the water, it will fill up through the holes and sink down as far as it will go. Once it's is down all the way, lightly push it down to insure it's seated . Then carefully put the tub into the colse cell foam box and carefully place it in the freezer. Leave it in the freezer for 36 hours and then you're ready to pull out the cubes. Run hot water around the outside of the plastic tub to ease in removing the ice mold. You don't need to go crazy, just enough hot water to pull out the ice tray. Don't try to melt the ice. Once the large block of ice is removed from the tub, take the back of a spoon and tap around the ice mold right along the bottom edge of the tray. Don't smack it hard, just enough to Crack the ice at that mating point. Then, twist the silicone mold like you would to a regular tray of ice. The mold will fall away from the chunk of ice and you can remove the individual cubes. You follow this procedure and you should never have any problems and you will be much happier afterwards!!ORIGINAL COMMENTSIt's not user friendly.. the holes in the bottom of the ice tray make it very cumbersome. The water underneath the tray ends up freezing to the ice in the tray and it a real pain in the butt to get separated. By the time you get it separated, the cubes have started to melt, then they stick to each other...I don't want to say it isn't worth it, because having clear ice is pretty impressive...But it's not worth the hassle to mess with on a regular basis.Oh, and it takes forever to freeze...

Works mostly great and the price is right
I've been using this for about a month now and initially it worked perfectly. I'm not sure what is going on now, but my cubes are getting smaller. I fill the bottom part with warm water and then set it in the freezer and fill the cube tray up to the very top. Eighteen or so hours later, I get nice clear cubes but somehow they are all about 1/4 inch or so down into the tray. The water seems to be coming up the sides between the silicone tray and plastic box and then leaking out into the freezer. My plastic box does not seem to be leaking at all, but for some reason the water is pushing itself out and the tray level drops resulting in approximately 2" X 2" X 1 3/4" less than square cubes. I'm going to try all cool water and see if that helps. I'm just not sure what sort of molecular process is going on here. Don't get me wrong, I love love love this thing. I just want to get this issue sorted out. *EDIT* : Using the same temperature water reduces the "shrinkage" of the cubes. I think using warm / hot water in the bottom seemed to cause the top to freeze so much faster than the bottom that there was a lot of expansion that had to go someplace. I just fill it with cool tap water and put it in the freezer now. You should always put this on top of a tray or something because it's going to overflow a little bit no matter what I think and you don't want extra water just spilling in your freezer and freezing to the bottom or wherever.

Perfectly Clear Ice Every Time
The Clear Ice Cube Tray Silicone has been a standout addition to my kitchen and bar setup. It consistently produces crystal clear, 2-inch ice cubes, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to various beverages. Its most impressive feature is the tray's ability to create perfectly clear ice. The ice cubes come out free of cloudiness, rivaling high-end bars or restaurants. This clarity enhances the visual appeal of drinks and ensures a slower melting rate, keeping beverages chilled without rapid dilution. Each tray yields 10 large cubes, which is a generous amount for personal use or when hosting. The size of the cubes is ideal for standard and oversized glasses, making them versatile for different types of drinks, from cocktails to iced coffee. The silicone material of the tray is another plus. It's durable and flexible, making it easy to release the ice cubes without breaking them. This ease of use is a significant improvement over traditional plastic ice trays. The ice cubes' large size and slow melting rate make them perfect for sipping spirits and mixed drinks. They cool the beverage effectively while maintaining its flavor profile for longer.TL;DR: The Clear Ice Cube Tray Silicone is a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their beverage experience. It reliably produces large, crystal-clear ice cubes that enhance the aesthetic and taste of drinks, making it a valuable tool for both casual and serious beverage enthusiasts.

Buying my 3rd one
It makes great small clear ice spheres, but there is a bit of a learning curve. 1. Use warmish water NOT cold water. 2. Release them within 14 hours or so. They store well in a thick freezer bag. I keep lots on hand for cocktails when friends are visiting. I like that they make 10 or so cubes at a time that are smaller and so fit into cocktails of many sizes. Aesthetically SOOO pleasing. I just bought the version that makes small square cubes and hope the result is the same. VERY cost-effective compared to other options.

Don't waste your money.
So, this product does make clear ice, but good luck trying to get the ice out! Not only does the water spill when trying to put this thing in the fridge, but you'll spend 30 minutes trying to extract the ice from this thing. Typically one cube rises WAY above the other ice and that one comes out easily. The other ice cubes are VERY difficult to get out though. You'll have to use a butter knife and work hard to get the cubes out. I absolutely do not recommend this product at all. Spend the extra money and get something that works.
